Whenever I look up to my homeland skies, I wonder if we ever share the same galaxy to look upon at and see the stars that twinkle so in its expanse.

I always wonder that if we weren't what we are today — would we be stars instead?

Traveling fast in this jet-black nebulous stream in the speed of light, chasing whatever had solidified in our minds; and maybe, cross paths and find ourselves captured in each other's gravity and engirdle each other's personal spaces.

Would we dance delicately yet merge with a blistering passion — birthing to a blue stragler as our luminescence places others into envy as they'll covet what we have?

Or would we be like the current lifetime we have? Where two stars were inevitably doomed to collapse — one is of their own volition; the other is caught in the crossfire, robbed from the opportunity of being able to create something beautiful. Now what's left of us is the haunting presence of a blackhole that utilizes energy for something even more destructive.

But who am I kidding? I am yet again stuck in my delusions, forgetting that we are nothing but stars that skid each other — passing in each other's lives as quickly as I lashed out on you. We may have collided, yet it left nothing that bore of importance.

If anything, and I should've known better, you created a miracle of your own as you were able to revive yourself from the disruptive event that happened.

While I, the one who refused to change for the better, remained a blackhole that fed on the gas and dust of my karma — now forever reputed as void-like where pulsating energies like passion and love become inhabitable in my expanse.

(BACKSTORY / CONTEXT)

This short story is about my two ocs Phoenixia (dont ask about the name) and Auckistin (or Auck; dont ask abt the name either) who are "inter-galaxial tragic lovers".

Auck is a human from earth who had a buddy named Blue — wherein Blue is a prince of another planet and was able to reach Earth thru portal-travelling, in hopes to expand his knowledge about the universe. Blue has an older sister named Phoenixia who rules over their planet's kingdom. Here, they are immortals, so find partners and copulating isn't necessary (they werent always mortals, but this'll be a story for another time).

Since Blue and Auck are close, the prince thought it's be okay if he brought Auck back to his home planet. With that, Auck eventually crossed-paths with Phoenixia, whom, he was enamored with. Thus, he tried gaining her interest.

At first, Phoenixia hated it perhaps because it was all foreign. But time grew and she eventually fell for him as well. Although, she never allowed herself to fully express this and "fall" for him, since she knew of the nature of their life. What once was playful banter turned into an accidental lashing wherein she had ultimately pushed Auck away.

Of course, hurt and got the message loud and clear, stopped pursuing her — he stopped seeing her and eventually visiting her planet. Now that she was left in the palace with her own thoughts, it was at the moment where she had fully appreciated his company and had realized at how much of a fool she was.

Everyday, not one day had gone by where she wouldn't think of him and his possible whereabouts. Somewhere down the line, she caught news of him that he was doing better and has someone new that could love him baxk equally — something that she was unable to do.

Now, she is stuck in an eternal limbo of having to eternally live with the guilt of ever rejecting him.
