Nothing mattered the moment you flitted into his room, a pretty picture of concern as you crowded his space. He would have minded it if anyone else was encroaching on him like. But this was you. And Jeongguk wanted you to be in his space all the time.

Oh my goodness🥺 Fina!

It's night time when I'm writing this so sorry if my words may be a bit of a mess but I am so soft for this pair my goodness. Jungkook....he truly took my heart with this one, but I would also like to give my love to you and the way you write. It's so special in the way that it's soothing. This may be weird, but to me, your writing is like cotton candy and vanilla. Soft and light but always has a feeling of home and a twinge of nostalgia. 

Sometimes he wonders what it’d be like to trace your lips with his fingers, learn what they felt like underneath his skin. Sometimes he wondered what they would feel like on his own.

You pause, reflexively nudging your frames back up your nose bridge. The little action tugs the corner of his mouth upwards, chest tight with unspoken words. “Let me finish, Jeongguk. Or I’ll draw a dick on your broken leg.”

This part was so dang cute, but it also made me laugh at the end. The secret pinning that's a part of their relationship is what made this so nice and enjoyable to read. But tbh, everything that you write is enjoyable and I LOVE coming back to read your pieces.

Jeongguk thinks this is what love might feel like. He doesn’t know if it is yet, but, if someone was to ask him what it was, he’d say this was it. You against him, his heart calm and wild within him.

I just let out the softest sigh. My heart just went full on 🥺💕 and now I am rolling over in bed and curling into a ball.

It’s with an unusual fondness that Jeongguk watches you kneel over his supine legs, glass frames gently shifting down the slope of your nose as your head tips forward. Your eyebrows are furrowed, gaze concentrated on the white gauze holding his broken foot in together. He’d shattered it during a soccer match; a stupid skid that resulted in a collision that could have been fatal. At first, he was distraught by the prospect of his future sports career crumbling into ruins, but the doctor that had plastered him back together assured Jeongguk the injury would heal relatively well enough for him to be sweating through Coach Bang’s drills within a couple of months. He hadn’t realised the silver lining of this unfortunate moment until now. Nothing mattered the moment you flitted into his room, a pretty picture of concern as you crowded his space. He would have minded it if anyone else was encroaching on him like. But this was you. And Jeongguk wanted you to be in his space all the time.

Jungkook recognized the fact that he was also insane, since instead of being annoyed by this fact – as he rightfully should’ve been – he just kept staring at your lips and wondering what they would taste like.

Okay. First of all, this scene in TAOM is one of my FAVORITES! But honestly, every single word that you wrote in TAOM was my favorite so…

Second of all, why am I on the brink of tears right now????? The ending, that last ‘please’ HIT! My heart is mush, and like, not in the ooey-gooey way. I honestly keep sighing and taking breaks to pause in order to gather my thoughts because I didn’t think that I would be close to shambles like this. 

I loved reading this scene from Jungkook’s POV. It made that particular scene more full because we got to see both sides of the same coin, and now that I’ve gone back to read that scene in the TAOM, all I can do now is put my head in my hands because WHYYYY!! They were so close (kinda) to having what they wanted, but I understand the conflicting emotions: on one side, you see someone who is actively trying not to have feelings but they can’t help it, but on the other, you see someone who is beginning to accept their feelings as something that is true and heartfelt. Also this part:

It was more than just wanting to be friends with you, more than the begrudging cooperation between two detectives. It was about how Jungkook couldn’t stop thinking about you, couldn’t stop dreaming of you and each time someone said your name, it felt like a physical wrenching because he couldn’t say your name how he wanted.

He had finally said your name that way tonight and then, you disappeared.

OMG….Emotions are so complicated, but you are able to invoke them and make them real. Your writing is able to make me feel something and that’s so beautiful Shanna.

The Holi-date has a very special place in my heart. After my final exams last year, I remember reading it, laying down with a gigantic bag of Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP kettle corn popcorn right next to me all the while texting my friend who was reading this with me throughout the night. It was a good memory and something that I smile about every time I see something related to this story, so seeing you post a side-drabble to this story made me smile.

This was so wonderful and calming to read. Whenever I read one of your stories, I always feel so good inside. It’s like a nice welcoming back to your happy place, and maybe it’s because I’ve been following you and reading your stories for like four years now, but I’m always so ecstatic whenever I read your works. Thank you for being a comfort to me. I also like the mini message within this post and the fact that it’s okay to go out of your comfort zone.
