Jungkook recognized the fact that he was also insane, since instead of being annoyed by this fact – as he rightfully should’ve been – he just kept staring at your lips and wondering what they would taste like.

Okay. First of all, this scene in TAOM is one of my FAVORITES! But honestly, every single word that you wrote in TAOM was my favorite so…

Second of all, why am I on the brink of tears right now????? The ending, that last ‘please’ HIT! My heart is mush, and like, not in the ooey-gooey way. I honestly keep sighing and taking breaks to pause in order to gather my thoughts because I didn’t think that I would be close to shambles like this. 

I loved reading this scene from Jungkook’s POV. It made that particular scene more full because we got to see both sides of the same coin, and now that I’ve gone back to read that scene in the TAOM, all I can do now is put my head in my hands because WHYYYY!! They were so close (kinda) to having what they wanted, but I understand the conflicting emotions: on one side, you see someone who is actively trying not to have feelings but they can’t help it, but on the other, you see someone who is beginning to accept their feelings as something that is true and heartfelt. Also this part:

It was more than just wanting to be friends with you, more than the begrudging cooperation between two detectives. It was about how Jungkook couldn’t stop thinking about you, couldn’t stop dreaming of you and each time someone said your name, it felt like a physical wrenching because he couldn’t say your name how he wanted.

He had finally said your name that way tonight and then, you disappeared.

OMG….Emotions are so complicated, but you are able to invoke them and make them real. Your writing is able to make me feel something and that’s so beautiful Shanna.

Yoongi is one of the best hunters in all the seven realms—one of the very few people who had hunted dragons before they became extinct.

He boasts about every scar across his body, letting you map out each one with your fingers as you laid in bed together at night. Every scar had a story of his brave adventures. You would hold your breath when he recalled how close he had been to death’s grasp or laugh at how he fought off dozens of angered fae while running through the forest. His passion for hunting is admirable, but it also terrifies you.

You always dread the next hunt where he would kiss you goodbye and never return. You want to keep him safe in your arms where no evil can touch. You will even plead on your knees with tears streaming down your face if it means he will stay out of harm’s reach.

He always jokes that hunting and you are what make him whole. You can’t take that away from him. It isn’t fair.

So for now—while you can—you hold him close.

"...You’re my family, nothing about you can ever disappoint me,”

I honestly can’t believe that this is the end. Keeping Things Simple and the rest of this series has made me so so happy. I loved getting notifications for a new chapter update, sometimes during the middle of the night too, and staying up just to read that one part to go back asleep again with a smile. 

Seeing the end of this series is bittersweet, but more sweet than anything else. I’m so glad that Namjoon and the m.c. were able to find their happiness together and amongst one another, and with Jinhae. I’m happy that she was able to get her job back and get pregnant. I guess that Mark wasn’t the one with the ✨magic cum✨. Those two really are soulmates😂.

Anyways, thank you so so so so soooooo much Sam for always putting a smile on my face with not only this series, but other stories that you have written. I’m going to miss these characters so much, but thank you for making my heart feel at ease. I’m sending you my love!💕💕💕💕
