The Holi-date has a very special place in my heart. After my final exams last year, I remember reading it, laying down with a gigantic bag of Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP kettle corn popcorn right next to me all the while texting my friend who was reading this with me throughout the night. It was a good memory and something that I smile about every time I see something related to this story, so seeing you post a side-drabble to this story made me smile.

This was so wonderful and calming to read. Whenever I read one of your stories, I always feel so good inside. It’s like a nice welcoming back to your happy place, and maybe it’s because I’ve been following you and reading your stories for like four years now, but I’m always so ecstatic whenever I read your works. Thank you for being a comfort to me. I also like the mini message within this post and the fact that it’s okay to go out of your comfort zone. This year has definitely been doing that for me, and I’m sure for others as well, but overall this was just really nice to read for me and my mind.

I feel like I’ve been holding back on reading this last part for the longest. I think though that it’s because of how in love I am with the characters and I didn’t want it to end. The story you created. The emotions you drove within me. And to be honest, I’m a bit emotional and teary-eyed as I’m writing this, but I’m very thankful for you and your kindness and the fact that you share these amazing stories with us. 

This final part was amazing and I loved that Namjoon finally got it together, with the help of his sister, to go for what he wanted and stop sending mixed signals. I also really enjoyed that he wanted to “do this the right way” and that was just so precious. The smut scene as well was nice. It was soft and sexy and loving, and just something that represented them and who they are inside.

I wish I had more words to express what I’m feeling, but you seem to be better at that than I am😅. But from the bottom of my heart, I am truly and forever will be grateful for everything that you’ve written, all of the conversations we’ve had even though few, and just the fact that you’re here on a space where I can continuously send my love to you. I’ve never experienced a break-up before. I’ve also never dated, but I have been in a situation that mimics this one. I am truly, truly amazed by the way you are able to so adequately capture thoughts, feelings, and emotions in such a vivid way. Like I said before, I’ve never been in a relationship or had a breakup, but every time I read a chapter of this story it feels like I have. Especially with this part:

Yes, you’ve read his books. Multiple times. Pored over every word and analyzed every character in search of snippets of yourself. Hoping to know whether he’s forgotten you and moved on from you or whether he’s still affected by the breakup in the same way you don’t dare to admit that you are.

The feeling of believing that you’re over it but you still find yourself coming back to things that remind you of them. It’s bittersweet but it’s beautiful to be emotional over this, and I find myself reaching the end of each part far faster than I would like. Especially with this cliffhanger at the end. In my eyes, there are three ways that the story could pan out and I’m not sure that my heart is ready for any of those.

"...You’re my family, nothing about you can ever disappoint me,”

I honestly can’t believe that this is the end. Keeping Things Simple and the rest of this series has made me so so happy. I loved getting notifications for a new chapter update, sometimes during the middle of the night too, and staying up just to read that one part to go back asleep again with a smile. 

Seeing the end of this series is bittersweet, but more sweet than anything else. I’m so glad that Namjoon and the m.c. were able to find their happiness together and amongst one another, and with Jinhae. I’m happy that she was able to get her job back and get pregnant. I guess that Mark wasn’t the one with the ✨magic cum✨. Those two really are soulmates😂.

Anyways, thank you so so so so soooooo much Sam for always putting a smile on my face with not only this series, but other stories that you have written. I’m going to miss these characters so much, but thank you for making my heart feel at ease. I’m sending you my love!💕💕💕💕
