Today I woke up from an amazing dream of going to a picnick date on the beach with my photographer girlfriend

Then I realized I don't have a girlfriend

And I don't live near the sea

And it's cold and raining so I can't have a picnick

Life is great

He woke up and the phatnom pain slowly faded. It was so wierd dying not from your own wounds. He looked around and saw Scar. He was pale and shaking.

"Scar?" he asked worried "Don't be sad I'm not angry"

But as Scar turned around slowly Grian knew it was something else.

"Scar? What happend? What's wrong?" he tried to ask but Scar wasn't reacting. "Scar listen to me! It's okay you're safe now" he tried to touch him on the shoulder but Scar pushed his hand away.

"Scar! You have to tell me what happend!" he didn't like shouting at him but he had to.

"It's like... like I was back there" started Scar with a shaky voice "Like they were... killing me... again"

"Back where? Scar I know it's hard but you have to tell me" Grian thought back to Evo. It was hard to open about it for him too. But when he did everything was easier. And he hoped it will also make it easier for Scar.

"If you open up you'll feel better I promise" he said

"I will?" asked Scar with tears in his eyes

"You will"

"Oh, I don't actually know where to start... It feels so long ago..."

I just realized

The fanfiction train

I thought that the polls will start earlier

I messed up the time zones and for the beggining of the voting i will be asleep

But don't worry I will give you one little fanfic in an hour or two I just need to study for a while

Then I will go to sleep

And then I will give you fanfiction

If I don't respond I'm probably sleeping don't worry

"Do you want to live forever? " the words of a smiling doctor from an ad that ended the world echoed in Scars mind.

"No I don't" he thought back remembering the look on pepole's faces when their limbs started turning sickly green and twisting in unnatural directons "That's what happens when you try to live forever Jellie. You become a barin-eating monster." he said to his only friend in this plauged world.

The advertisement played from the broken tv that stood with half of it's screen shattered in the middle of a living room Scar found himself resting in after barely escaping the zombies. The sun was setting through big broken windows and the ruined city behind it looked like it was covered in blood. Scar was tired after a long day of running and hiding from the creatures that roamed the streets below. He neded to find a a safe place to stay for longer than a day. But not here.

The ad played one more time bringing him back to reality. "Of course this ad must be stuck on a loop" he thought annoyed and grabbed his baseball bat decorated nicely with stickers and blood and smashed the tv with it. The sound of a falling object might have alerted the zombies but he didn't care. As long as this damned commercial didn't play he was happy.

He went to the kitchen to search for food. Cupboards - empty, empty, a jar of old coffee, empty. He opened the fridge door trying not to look at the photos of a happy family that were attached to it with magnets from trips to different cities and countries. They were probably already dead. Or zombies. It didn't matter. What mattered was that the fridge was also empty. He was a little hungry but he had to last without food for the night.

At least Jellie didn't have to worry about food beacuse she showed him proudly the mouse she just caught. "Come on Jellie let's see if they have some cool books or stickers here. The rocket one got almost entirely scratched off"

Oh to be a child surviving the apocalypse only with your cat
