I hate reading slumps 😒 I was able to read the kingdom of the wicked trilogy while i was in the slump but it still hasn’t gotten me out of it even though the series itself was a page turner.

As for Innate Magic, I started it yesterday and I can’t seem to read at a constant pace like i usually do. Like don’t get me wrong, after the first 100 pages I was fully invested but it isn’t enough because my brain wants to do 2 things at once and i don’t even know what the other thing is.

Predictions: The doctor guy is going to be exposed.

After a few more things are confirmed (like andrew’s mom being involved, whatever pdsd shit Hector is going through..) I feel like someone is going to get hurt. I just have to hope it’s not Thomas,, he’s my favorite and Andrew,,,though ngl as sweet as he is, he is a little suspicious.

people will say how friendships between girls and boys are very important, but when we get one then they get labeled by the fandom as siblings, gay besties or besties who talk to each other about their crushes.

sometimes feels like fandoms label these friendships like that as a reason as to why others shouldn't be allowed to be ship the m/f ship in question.

or sometimes it feels like these labels get used as an explanation/excuse as to why this boy and girl aren't romanticaly interested in each other as if them simply being friends isn't enough.

Questions like these make me remember that i’m reading a YA book.
