I hate reading slumps 😒 I was able to read the kingdom of the wicked trilogy while i was in the slump but it still hasn’t gotten me out of it even though the series itself was a page turner.

As for Innate Magic, I started it yesterday and I can’t seem to read at a constant pace like i usually do. Like don’t get me wrong, after the first 100 pages I was fully invested but it isn’t enough because my brain wants to do 2 things at once and i don’t even know what the other thing is.

Predictions: The doctor guy is going to be exposed.

After a few more things are confirmed (like andrew’s mom being involved, whatever pdsd shit Hector is going through..) I feel like someone is going to get hurt. I just have to hope it’s not Thomas,, he’s my favorite and Andrew,,,though ngl as sweet as he is, he is a little suspicious.

Oh right Variety (or whatever her name was 😭) is gonna most definitely dip after she deals with publishing the scandal article on her biological father.

Usually I would write my thoughts out in the journal app along with a summary of what I read so far, but not this time.

I breezed through the story with very few pauses. All i can say is I very much loved what happened.

Though this is very different from other books. It’s like a contemporary but it just happens to be in a fantasy/dystopian world.

I wonder if the guy who was doing the sound wave booms is going to be in the next book and how they are going to get all the soldiers and citizens of their continent(?) to start rebuilding but also prepare for the inevitable war that’s to come with the rest of the commanders. I hope now that this has happened they’ll be able to find more people with the mutation for power.

Juliette and Aaron are so cute though 😭 I love them. KENJI I HOPE U GET URSELF A BAE TOO.

Now that the warning is out of the way. OMG the ending literally has me in a chock hold. What do you mean her parents are the supreme commanders of Oceania?? I get that there was the tiny hint that they had no kids should have been obvious, because all these fuckers have kids.

In the back of my mind i was actually hoping she wasn’t a part of the whole powerful lineage shit, but it should have been expected sighs. Especially since this is fantasy and the secret identity always has to do with being someone of high status even if they are originally portrayed as another peasant like the rest of us.

Also Aaron groveling?? Never thought I would be the type of person to be into that shit (i have always been into that shit 😂). And Kenji and Nazeera like don’t get me started. Precious the both of them.

I wonder how they are going to all get back together and how this is experience is going to shape Juliette. Because her parents did a bunch of shit to her, killed her friends, detained the ones they didn’t kill (from my understanding) and they think she’s going to nicely go down for dinner because it’s getting cold??
