Dragonfruit Refresher

It was hot, a heatwave maybe because god damn was it hot outside. And all Kiko wanted to do was drag her father around outside and run around the park all day. She was 5 and looks just like Kyotani; long blond hair and pointy chin just like him. She loved to wear her fathers jersey number with her sparkley pants she bedazzeled herself.

But she was very hyper , always running around and begging her father to play tag or hide and seek with her. Of course he always did , nothing made him happier than seeing his daughter laugh and smile. Sometimes during hide and seek he would sneak up behind her throwing her over his shoulder and running around like that till she almost threw up on him. That didint stop him from doing it again though, she always laughed the hardest when he grabbed her.

Kikos mother was not around much if ever, Kyotani could just not make it work , she did not want to tour with him and the Sendai Frogs after Kiko was born, the long sdstance was a strain on both of them till she could just not take it anymore, she divorced him and left, leaving Kiko with her father.

Kiko knew her mother was never coming back,Kyo explained it to her one day when she asked Tsukki if her mother would be at the game . It took awhile for Kiko to understand but she accepted it. Kyo knew it hurt her .. he promised himself he would be a good father for his daughter, even if it meant he had to do it alone.

You looked into his eyes. Though they were dark and and unnerving to some, his obsidian irises always held a light that only shone with you. Gently brushing his cheekbones with your thumb, you lean towards his forehead and place a lingering kiss on his forehead - specifically on his moles.

"You always know how to make me feel better." he mumbled, leaning into your touch.

"Your moles are like your reset buttons, Omi." you're surprised he didn't notice how you always kissed his forehead last, especially when he was having a rough day. "I just kiss them and it's like your grumpy mood does a reset, and you're okay again."

He simply sighs as he nuzzles deeper into your touch. The warmth in his heart was too overwhelming for words. You always knew how to make him feel good, feel understood. You make him feel loved.

He wraps his arms tightly around your waist, no intention of letting you go soon. You were right. The kisses on his moles were his reset buttons, and he almost could forget what put him in such a bad mood in the first place.

With his arms wrapped around you, and the comfort you bring flowing through his veins, you were right about another thing.

“hey Issei” you whisper, causing him to stir and wake up

“hmm?” he asks

“I think I know why my boobs are so small” you tell him

“mmm and why is that” Matsukawa asks, but the moment you gasp at him, he processes what you said and sits up

“ISSEI YOU THINK MY BOOBS ARE TOO SMALL?!” you screech-although you can’t help but laugh upon seeing his unamused expression on his face

your boyfriend thumps your forehead before he wraps you up in his arms and pulls you back down onto the couch

“ah that was really clever of you babe. you really got me there” he chuckles, drifting back into his nap
