Burping as you trip over your own feet, you made your way into your shared room that belonged to you and your best friend, Mina.

You kicked off your heels, throwing your purse somewhere random, and plopping right down on your bed.

You heard little laughs from your best friend which made you giggle as you reached your hand and tickled her feet, making her toes scrunch up the more you tickled her.

She laughed at you and saying how messed up you were tonight as you sat up confused, only to feel your heart drop when you saw another body in the bed with her. And it wasn’t her feet you tickled, it was her boyfriend’s.

“Ew I’m embarrassed. Love you.” You mumble drunkily as you stood up to leave. You heard the two laugh at your clumsiness and the way you walked out. You waddled away, feeling the drunk flush along with the embarrassment over your face.

You had no idea where in the world you were going, but all you wanted was to just sleep. And what better room than the room you slept at before for different reasons.

You crawled into bed, making sure that the small dress you wore was still covering your bits as you made yourself at home on the bed.

You cuddled up to the pillows, sighing in relief that you finally had some peace and quiet alone while you felt yourself start to drift off.

“Move over a bit.” Katsuki nudged you, making you quickly sit up and starting to get up to leave the bed still very much drunk but alert at the roughness in his voice.

“I said move over not leave. Just move a bit. Here let me put a pillow under for you.” Feeling a bit out of it, you moved sluggishly to the wall.

“You alright? You comfy?” You ignored his question as you leaned your head on his arm, snoring.

He held onto you, still trying to take off the shirt he wore at the club but still keeping the wife-beater tank on as he began to get comfortable himself.

“This is weird. Usually you sleep here for uh…different reasons. This is nice.” Katsuki had his head on yours, hugging you as you both drowned out the noises of your roommates from the background, really taking in the company of each other.

“You’re one of my bestest friends, I love spending time with you.”

The only bad thing about this whole thing was the two of you refused to confess to one other. Even though the both of you wanted more.

Finally, winter was here and Howl couldn't be more excited.

He loved the cold winter nights, the endless snow flakes that would float around in the sky until finally, they landed somewhere that soon would be covered whole in a matter of hours.

He was exceptionally more excited knowing he'd spend the snowy day with his love, [Y/N].

“Now Markl, please make sure you wipe your shoes once we finally go inside. You know how upset Calcifer becomes when we leave a mess of wet foot prints around."

Markl listened of course, but he still managed to get the whole floor covered in water, making Calcifer almost burning himself out of flames, seeing no point in moving forward in his life when no one seemed to listen to a simple instruction.

Howl laughed of course at his dear heart and looked towards his lover's window, coming up with a brilliant idea.

Howl, being the romantic person he was, grabbed a few snowballs and chucked them towards the window, wanting his princess' attention.

Only his brilliant idea, wasn't so brilliant.

He gasped in surprise when she popped her head out, having snow all over her hair and clothes.

He bursted out laughing, feeling his tummy begin to ache at how adorable she looked at that moment.

"Howl are you serious?? I just took a bath!"

"Well now you have taken another well needed one, darling! Besides, why'd you have the window open in the middle of a snow storm?"

He continued to tease, only receiving a glare and jumping back from the loud bang from the window as she closed her window shut.

"Oh man, she seemed pretty upset! She was saying earlier how she didn't want any funny business as she was painting something important..."

Both Howl and Markl slapped their foreheads in realization that they did promise to not be annoying today, which they obviously had broken that promise.

Howl quickly walked into the castle, ignoring Calcifer's whining that Howl was wearing his dirty shoes on the carpet.

"Darling? Open up please." Howl begged as he continued to knock on their shared bedroom door, twisting and turning the locked door handle.

Silence. That was all he got as an answer.

Of course he could've used magic to open the door easily, but he did NOT want to make her even more mad then she already was.

"My love, I'm sorry. I completely forgot about the promise, it completely slipped my mind. All I wanted was to tease you. I had no idea the window was open..."

"So you're saying that our promise meant nothing to you and that I'm easily forgotten?"

Howl's mouth open in shock, no words being able to muster out of him.

He stepped back a bit when the door opened, his mouth closing in a smile when he saw his beautiful girlfriend's smile.

"I'm only teasing, love. And I know, you were just wanting some fun. But you did promise me to calm down a bit hm?"

Howl ignored her pouting face and grabbed her, stuffing his face between her neck and taking a deep inhale of her scent.

"I'm sorry, my love. Please forgive me?"

[Y/N] laughed a bit and nodded her head, putting her hand on his head while soothing his hair down as it was everywhere.

"How about we force Calcifer to make us some hot tea while we watch the moon glisten as the snow falls hm?"

‘Well this is great.’ You played with your pencil, awkwardly looking around the kitchen, moving side to side on your chair.

“Can you stop?” You frowned, stopping mid way, as you turn your head slowly to see cloud keeping his head still down on his arms against the desk.

“I can, but I won’t just because you said so.” You started to move again, enjoying the way he huffed in annoyance.

You saw everyone else getting along greatly with one another and you couldn’t help but mourn your old partner as she laughed along with her new one.

It made you even more annoyed seeing your cousin making teasing faces that she was the one paired with Tifa for now on.

“I know where you sleep asshole.” You flipped your cousin, yuffie, off as she stuck her tongue out and turned back around.

“You’re friends with Yuffie?” You hummed, looking to see Cloud now sitting up right. “Nah she’s a total loser.” You shoved the crackers that you needed to grind for your assignment into your mouth.

“That’s kind of rude don’t you think? She’s cool.” You rolled your eyes laughing at his serious expression. “Jesus dude I was joking. She’s my cousin…same last name? Ever took note to that since you’re sooo obsessed with her.”

Cloud cleared his throat, completely forgetting you two were related. Yuffie was a close friend of his in his friend group so it wasn’t a surprise to take offense that you said she was a loser.

“Anyways, new partner, we should probably get started.” You opened up the cook book, scanning the recipe for today’s class.

“Bacon-Cheddar Potato Croquettes…doesn’t seem to hard.” You started to grab your measuring cups along with some ingredients. As you started to work, you glanced over to see Cloud completely oblivious at the fact that you started as he continued to look up ahead.

“Dude, what are you doing?” You asked, eating another cracker, while keeping your other hand on the page you were on to not lose it.

“Huh? Nothing.” You saw the light pink tint on his cheeks, while you followed his gaze to where tifa was at.

“Ahh does cloudy have a crush on my frieeeennnd.” You poked his cheek, laughing as he swatted your hand away.

“Of course I don’t. Don’t be stupid…besides she’s MY best friend.” Cloud’s voice cracked just a bit, his eyes burning on the page in front of him now with a scowl.

“I could help you, if you want.” You wiggled your eyebrows around and poked his arm this time playfully.

“I don’t need help…and knock it off, stop touching me.” He scooted away from you, looking down at his phone. At the glint of your eye, you saw him open up the familiar blue app that you were obsessed with yourself.

“I would’ve never taken you as tweeter.” You heard a scoff come from him, watching as he turned his brightness down so you couldn’t see anything else.

“You don’t know me. And we’re not friends so stop acting like we are. We’re just partners and the only reason I haven’t complained about being your partner is because you’re one of the best in this class.”

‘Ouch…’

You hummed, looking away. “Alright there’s no need to be a dick,dude. I’m just trying to make conversation.”

Cloud rolled his eyes, but keeping his gaze from yours.

“Well don’t. It’s annoying.”

The rest of the class went smoothly but a bit awkward as you both worked together silently. The A+ on the Bacon-Cheddar Potato Croquettes made up for it though as you hopped over to tifa.

Cloud rose an eyebrow as you two squealed, holding each other’s hands as you two jumped lightly.

‘Were you always this close to Tifa?’ That question was answered quickly as you two hugged when the bell rang, the both of you running out of class together.

‘’hmm…if tifa likes her so much maybe I can use this to my advantage.’
