The difference between JJ with raccoon reader and Topper with raccoon is that JJ makes her into a rabid raccoon that he can sick on people, while Topper turns her into a domesticated raccoon in pretty dresses. 

While they both love everything about her, JJ fixes nothing at all. He loves how messy she is and how much of a trash dog she is (they literally met when she was in the dumpster, but that’s a story for another day). Topper, on the other hand, cleans her up a bit before they go public (kook standards), but she loves to be spoiled, so that's okay. With JJ, she dresses kind of like Adam Sandler but is cuter. The baggy clothes are kind of messy; she probably wears the same outfit more than once in a row (she’s poor leave her alone). Topper sees this and takes our girl shopping IMMEDIATELY. Now don’t get ahead of ourselves; she's not wearing small, tight clothes, so he’s getting her lots of leggings and cute track suits. Our girl is a comfort-first gal, but he forces her to get some dresses to impress his friends and family. JJ will NEVER get her to wear dresses, not in her life, but it's okay because he doesn't want to see her wear anything anyway. He has trouble getting her to put pants on for company in the first place.
