Man I’m getting a lot of great feedback with my batfam posts and I’m so happy jdsnfosdnoneo !! Here’s a page filled with Jondami or Damijon. It was originally an entire page of my sketchbook but I liked it so much I decided to digitalize it

Bruce : *arrives back at Wayne Manor*

Dick : Hey Bruce ! Hope your day was as nice as my butt 😊

Bruce : ….

Bruce : …normality was just an inch away Dick…an INCH away..

I’ve seen people say Bruce slapped Tim or backhanded him. Which is still horrid but it’s inaccurate and gives the wrong visual.

He straight up struck him with a fist and sent him flying the the floor. He punched him and floored him down. Right to the chin.

He brutally assaulted Jason on TV (if I’m remembering that part right) hit him so hard his helmet broke I’m pretty sure too. When he didn’t actually kill anyone, just seemed like it. The world’s greatest detective didn’t even try to do detective work before acting in violence.

Because he didn’t get married.

I don’t know who in DC had their heartbroke so hard they had Batman act out in their pain. Or whatever is the origin of all of this.

And I don’t find myself as a guy who swoons over Batdad and thinks he’s the finest dad ever raising these kids. He can be emotionally distant and confused. A lot of times he isn’t always loving upfront, but he still genuinely cares for these kids. There’s enough occasions to prove that.

When Jason first started killing he didn’t hurt him like he wanted to. It was hard for him to process. He wanted to help.

And if can handle that he can handle being stood up at the altar.

If it’s a Bane thing then Batman’s handled mindgames before. He’s a strong dude mentally and physically.

He’s supposed to be a hero.

This doesn’t make the story deep. It just makes Batman out to be a horrible person that shouldn’t have been permitted to adopt any kid of any age.

Bats and their first language

Bruce: English, but he learned a weird mix of American and British English. Half the time his kids have no idea what he’s trying to say

Dick: Romani, since that’s largely what his parents spoke. He grew up learning English as well, but was fluent in Romani first and he often forgets English words and gestures vaguely until someone figures out what he’s saying

Jason: Spanish and English. He grew up in a bilingual household, but he has such a heavy Gotham accent that half the time you can’t figure out what he’s saying in English so he switches to Spanish

Tim: English. Ya boy may be Korean, but his parents were third generation immigrants, and they didn’t know enough Korean to even think about teaching Tim. His grandparents ended up teaching him, but by then he was already fluent in English

Damian: Arabic. It’s all that was ever spoken to and around him till he was five, and then he was learning English and Spanish and a few other languages

Barbara: she grew up in a bilingual house hold as well, and she and Jason will often speak in rapid fire Spanish. They do this a lot on patrol and Bruce would like them to stop, please, we can’t all follow what your saying—

Cass: sign language~ more specifically ASL, because it is the most common form. The only one who knew enough ASL to fluently speak with her was Jason, but Bruce was quick to learn and everyone else soon followed

Steph: Would you believe in was Japanese? Her dad had a lot of contacts in Japan, and he fully expect Steph to take over the ‘family business’, so he taught her Japanese first

Duke: English, but he picked up a lot of Spanish from school and just being out in the Gotham streets. Not enough to be 100% fluent, mind you, but enough to not die

Helena: English, but she picked up both Spanish and Italian very quickly when she was little. The Spanish was from Selina, but she couldn’t tell you where the Italian came from

My point is that a lot of bats know Spanish and even though Bruce can speak it he can’t keep up with the rapid fire Spanish Jason please stop doing this every time you join us on patrol I have no idea what any of you are saying child please—
