Playful Jiang Tian exists only for room 501 and that means soooo much to me. Especially because of how much he is always holding on to his feelings and is never ever able to just feel and be a teen. Also importantly, Sheng Wang being absolutely smitten to see playful Jiang Tian is what motivates and pushes him to be that gleeful. The joy that they share is soso beautiful and soso palpable and most importantly it allows them to stay without withdrawing into their loneliness.

I love so much about it. I wanted an episode with the friends and roommates being a big part and that's what I got.

The way I was simultaneously, too prepared but not at all prepared for what all the episode gave me. It was at the same time too much and not enough and I'm absolutely loosing my mind. I cannot wait for tomorrow.

The BL that wasn't a BL gave me the love story that was better than a love story.

Don't get me wrong, I have a million things to say about Jane and Ryan, but at the end of the day Ryan didn't need to be swept off his feet. He needed to feel pride in what he is capable of, feel confidence in his efforts and not be swayed by failures. He needed to depend on others and feel safe to take risks. He needed to be curious about the world and brave enough to go find out what is possible.

Jane certainly helped Ryan build all of that, but so did Tae and Pah and BaMhee and especially Pie. Even Baimon and Jo and my baddie in the art department. OK, maybe not him. But everything else was part of the environment and experiences that helped Ryan learn to love creating and commit himself to a future of his own choosing. As they say, soulmates aren't born, they're forged. He going to go far with all that love in his life.

And it's a love story worth telling.

The ending was, as I expected, painful. However, I think the pain is very realistic, and ultimately, I am relatively ok with the ending. Sheng Wang had his gay awakening, but there are very real roadblocks to he and Jiang Tian being together. They are going to be brothers for real, so to him, this is a love that cannot be. He's doing his best to put some distance between him and Jiang Tian to get over him. The longing, pain, anger, and loneliness Dongqin and Ben portrayed moved me deeply. Am hoping for some good news from the director regarding season 2 soon. I don't want to let go of Jiang Tian and Sheng Wang yet.

I am literally itching to open the The On1y One tag while having no way to watch it for at least another 4 hours, if not more. I like living life on edge. Maybe I should just give in and watch.

Every 哥 (ge) out of Sheng Wang's mouth this episode was a stab directly to my heart.
