Making Aemond burn his brother is like making Jace burn Rhaenyra. Does anyone in the writers room remembers that the cause of the war was that idiot Viserys I? It wasn't young Aemond plotting to usurp Rhaenyra's throne, it was their father's incompetence. It wasn't Aemond who took the crown, it was Aegon who did it. Aegon didn't even want it. It was the fear that Rhaenyra would murder his family to secure her power and her children's succession. They are rewriting the story. They want us to believe that the whole war is the idea of "evil" Aemond. And why can't the siblings have the actual bond? Isn't it interesting enough that they are as different as night and day? Do they really have to murder each other?
