funny story about this my mom posted this on Facebook and my dads family is actually homophobic and closed minded and both my great aunt and my aunt commented on it and was like god made us for a reason and all that shit and my mom was getting really worked up about it and my dad was like you can’t change who they are that’s just who they are and I compared it to when my grandma was shocked when I told her I believed in evolution and my dad said yeah that’s similar. in conclusion you can’t change who they are but be who you want to be and I kinda took that to heart ngl
