The horror of Natasha having her memories messed with so many times that she can’t trust herself anymore. Every time she thinks it’s over, she’s free, it happens again.

Her memories were what made her whole, the only thing that was hers to keep in a world were nothing ever felt her own, were anything could be and had been taken from her, but how could she ever be sure anymore? Some of her fondest memories, cherished relationships, have turned out to be fabricated as a means to control her. It’s not something she can repeatedly move on from like it’s nothing. It has to be one of her biggest fears to one day find out that her mind has been violated yet again.
