do a date headcanons!

Right, so date night with these two is quite the adventure.

Dream will want to stay in for date night.

While blob will want to go out and do something outside for date night.

So of course, to keep both happy, you say you guys go on a picnic in your backyard.

As much as you wanted to go out with Blob, you did have a 6 foot something man child that could just pick you up and take you away in the night.

As much as you loved Dream he was scared if he didn’t get what he wanted.

Dream would set up the little picnic outside and Blob would be inside with you making the food.

Blob would try his damn best to help you cook.

But he would mostly just stir things around in the pot.

Oh reader, did you think this would be a simple meal, like a sandwich?

Oh no.

No, no, no.

Nor Dream or Blob would have it.

This is a special time for them, so that night you are having your choice, baguette, and fruit for the appetizer.

Then for the main course you would be having either steak, fish, or chicken.

And if you're vegan/vegetarian, you would have a vegan equivalent to that main course.

And for dessert?

Lava cake.

No, if, ands or butt.

And you’ll be the one cooking most of this, except the lava cake.

That is a surprise that Dream will make..or try to (blob will do most of the work so Dream doesn’t fuck it up).

Dream is good at a lot of stuff.

Cooking just isn’t one of them.

Now when you get out in the backyard, you’ll seem something’ like this.

Blankets will cover the0 grass, with a small table set in the middle of the blanket floor.

It was a short table, tall enough to be eaten at while sitting on the ground.

Candles will be greeting you on the table. With two wine glasses in their company. The soft lighting of the candles and the cold light of the moon were the only lights to film your eyes.

And standing there like a happy toddler waiting for your praise is an overjoyed Dream.

He wasn’t just proud of himself, but he was also proud of you.

You had finally come out of your room.

You had been avoiding Dream since you caught him yelling at someone for upsetting a while ago.

His yelling scared you, and who could blame you.

Now the date itself would be peaceful.

There would be no talking if you didn’t want any talking.

But Dream will gladly speak if you want conversation, he would talk to you about what you had missed when you were in your room.

He would talk about you.

And just normal talking for once.

Now whether you want to talk or not, Blob is not being left out.

So during your entire dinner he’ll be on your lap, just listening and enjoying being held.

And at the end of your great dinner, Dream will surprise you with the Lava cake.

In short: Over all, date night is a nice change of pace for all three of you. For you, there is no yelling for fighting to listen to. For Blob, he gets your attention and is content. And for Dream, well… he gets to see you.
