Mingi drabble #1

so I have both of these to choose between, which is getting turned into my full fic. both are yandere fics with varying levels of yandereness. Both are universes that I've been working on somewhat.

I hope you enjoy it, and please do not read if the following warnings trigger you:

Warnings: Dark Idol Au!(A world where what happens in the fic is normal/gets a blind eye turned to it) Yandere Ateez, Yandere Mingi Kidnapping,, emotional manipulation, delusion/obsessive/possessive behavior

My Dark Idol au is a world where, of course, they are still idols, but I mix those with Yandereness and dark elements. It's a world where sometimes idols pick out certain fans to be theirs, only for them to disappear, go missing, or return never the same. Rumors circle around that those who go missing are picked during concerts and fan signs, so it's best to travel in groups. Never go alone, but if you do

"Mingi! I'm so happy to see you again!"

The grey-haired male looked up with a huge gummy smile, his goddess had finally arrived. Y/n L/n was your name, a fan since Ateez's debut, you've been faithfully coming to every fansign you could, making the male sad when you didn't show your face.

Mingi was what some would call whipped, he eventually found your Instagram, following it and saving every picture of you. Printing out his favorite ones and keeping them framed. Sometimes Mingi would dream of you coming home with him, staying in Korea with him where he could see you anytime he wanted.

He needed that, he craved it.

He couldn't just rely on his dreams anymore.

He needed you.

"Are you okay Mingi?" He shook his head, he watched as you giggled at him, he must've spaced out. "Yea! I'm okay" He quickly said watching as you were digging in your bag for something. Mingi tilted his head in slight curiosity but let out a small gasp. You pulled out what looked like...a ring box?!

Were you confessing to him?

Was this your way of telling him that you wanted him just as much as he wanted you?

"I got it made for your birthday! but of course, I wasn't able to give it to you, so you can have it now!"

Mingi took the box from your hands, allowing his hands to linger on yours for a bit longer. "It's beautiful, this is so cool!" Mingi took it out and placed it on his ring finger, you had gotten his size right too!

It was a simple golden band with his initials, his birthday, and Ateez's debut date. He turned to San to show it to him "San look!" San smiled and looked at you, "That's so cool! Maybe you should make me one too~" He teased making You giggle and smile.

Soon someone was coming and telling you that it was time for you to move on to the next member. You waved bye to Mingi and the male waved back, his hands kept fiddling with the ring and a huge smile came on his face.

He definitely had to make a move before you left.

He had to have you.

And he wasn't going to let you go.

You were waiting for your friend, Minyoung to come out. the fan sign had long ended and just about everyone was leaving.

You looked down at your phone, sending a text to the group chat, telling them about how Mingi reacted to the ring and everyone was freaking out for you.

Ayakaaa: OOOO BITCH HE LIKES YOU

Yoonminmin: I highly doubt it. remember he's an idol, we're normal people.

Minnie: Ah-ah! Hongjoong's girlfriend is a fan! So maybe Y/n does have a chance.

Ayakaaa: Yea! And they said they don't care as long as their respectable, cute and loving which you are all three!

Y/n: Guys....please let us be a normal friend group for once AND STOP BEINF DELULU'S

Ayakaaa: Yeahh no chief

Yoonminmin: You signed up for this.

Minnie: RIGHT, Now hold on I'm coming out now.

You rolled your eyes at your friend's antics. You were standing underneath the streetlight. "Over here Y/n!" You turn to see Minyoung waving to you and you were about to head over to her, only to have someone place their hand over your mouth and waist.

You left out a scream as you try fighting against your attacker, Minyoung screaming for help, struggling to dial something on her phone.

"Shh..It's me. Don't fight against me please.."

Your eyes widened as you were pulled into what you assumed was a SUV. By the time you were trying to get adjusted to what the hell happened, your eyes were covered by a blindfold and your hands were quickly bound.

"Jeez Mingi you couldn't have waited?

"You didn't wait Hyung!"

"Not the point"

"Oh Isn't this the cutie that gave you the ring?"

The voices sounded like the members of Ateez, but why would they kidnap you? The rumors couldn't be true..could they?

"M-mingi..?" You asked aloud, praying and hoping that it was just a misunderstanding, that they couldn't have been the on-

"Yes? I know this was sudden, but I couldn't just let you walk away from me. I'm sorry it was so sudden and I took you away from your friends but I promise life will be better with me."

You felt someone wrap their arms around you and pull you into their lap. You were so shocked that you couldn't really say anything, all you could do was lean against your capture and allow him to run his hands through your hair.

Your blindfold fell down slowly, and it allowed you to look at who was holding you, and low and behold.

It was Mingi.

That same grin he showed you during the fansign on his face as he glanced down at you. "Please don't look at me like that Princess. I knew you weren't going to come willing, so I had to take you. besides. you wouldn't like it if everyone in the fandom knew you were the reason I was sad." Mingi says leaning down to place a kiss on your cheek.

"W-what?...Why didn't just ask me at the sign?"

"because I know you would've said no. Now stop questioning why okay?"

"No Mingi you took me away from my friends! They could be worried about me!!" You yelled, "Hell I might've would have come willingly but you went and took me!"

You heard Hongjoong chuckle from his seat. "She reminds me of Ruby, they all say that then they'll warm up to you."

Mingi pouts at you, "You hurt me y/n.." He suddenly grips your hair, pulling it back and forcing you to look at him. He wore a lovesick grin on his face as he looks down at your scared face.

"But don't worry..I'll break you in just like the others, but unlike them.."

"I want you for the rest of my life.."
