Xehanort is Ephemer's descendant. This made me gasp for some reason, becaude of the type of future that Ephemer wanted to bring and here comes his descendant using darkness. This made me think "Oh crud, we became part of our best friend's descendant"
Child Xehanort is adorable. He was so adorable I wanted to cry. He also misses his mom~ even though he grew up without her. (Sora, your mom's worried sick) How can someone that adorable as a child become... eh *gestures to older Xehanort*
Player is the old man that raised Xehanort, not Xehanort himself. At least that brought some type of relief to me that we are no longer part of a person that did atrocious things to our old friends and a lot of other people but still...

Also, we were already too deep into the "Player is Xehanort" and got a lot of good fanfics out of it. Nomura, stop it with the plot twists.
So the reason why Xehanort dreamt the Player's old memories is because he had the ability to sense others' hearts.
4. Xehanort's destiny??? I'm not sure if Player mistook Xehanort for Sora as the child of destiny, but I can't rule out the possibility that maybe Xehanort was SUPPOSED(???) to be the child of destiny but MoM stirred his path to the darkness and that role was given to Sora like how Riku was supposed to have the keyblade but when he turned to the darkness, the keyblade was given to Sora.
But, it's KINDA messed up if Player just happned to take Xehanort and raised him in Destiny Islands to make him fit into the role of the child of destiny... I still have issues regarding that like... Player, what are you doing?
6. Possibility that Player will be in Missing Link. The player lived two lives, the second being in Scala Ad Caelum when they learned the destiny of the child of destiny. Imagine if we met Brain... like "Hey Brain, it's me Player." Hopefully, we also get to know who Demyx and Luxord are as somebodies. And I swear, if Luxu body hops into someone we are well-acquainted with again, I will throw something..!
I'm just here rubbing my head at the twists, it was late at night so I wouldn't dive into this further than I normally would have been.

I saw someone using this picrew and I had to try it. Me and Young but not evil Xehanort. I’m short so of course he would be taller than me.
I headcanon that his eyes are not gray but actually lilac purple. They didn’t have the exact shade for his eyes I wanted but this was better than giving him gray.

In the Disney Universe, Atlanteans are the only ones to have both dark skin and white hair, which Xehanort has. And since the only thing we can see he inherited from his mom was her eyes, its mostly likely that Xehanort looks like his dad. Yes Ephemer has white hair but since its confirmed he is Xehanort’s ancestor meaning there are multiple generations between him and Xehanort, it’s unlikely the white hair was passed through to Xehanort. Also it’s unconfirmed from which side of his parents that Ephemer is his ancestor in.

why does kingdom heart union x [cross] have the graphics of a ds game, it came out in 2015 not 2004 it got an update a month ago, why does it looks like i could grate cheese on the door knob
