Telling my friends I'm a writer means I get asked to proof read every writing assignment, every mildy important text, every card they write, as if I actually know what I'm doing when I write. I just throw words on a page and hope it makes sense like it does in my head. 😭😭😭😭
So I'm beta reading for someone right now and who was going to tell me it's this fun! I get to be the hype squad IN THE ACTUAL DOCUMENT!!
And it's a second draft so the only major notes I need to leave are for pacing/character arcs, which, HELLO that's my favorite part.
The story is already so good. I'm just loving being a tiny little part of someone else's writing journey and getting a behind the scenes look at their brilliance.
