I’m giving Eddie a cat

Why?

Cause I feel like he needs one :)

Here’s some headcanons and trivia about her :3

* Eddie can’t seem to stick with a name to his pet cat, but the ones she seems to respond to most with are Duchess, Jinx, Vivi, and Persia

The one nickname that is consistent is Eddie just calling her “Kittyyyyy”

* Jinx helps Eddie calm down much more than anything else

* Duchess is quite calm. She doesn’t mess around with anything she isn’t supposed to, and responds very well to Eddie.

On the contrast, she behaves like any other cat around others. She’ll maybe have a soft spot for Wally and Frank, but anyone else is a stranger to her

The only time she can cause a bit of trouble is whenever she fits-and-sits in Eddie’s mail hat

* Cat vs Dog rivalry between Vivi and Barnaby (spoiler alert, the cat wins)

* Jinx was specifically chosen out because Jinx is a black cat (with just some colored markings for the aesthetic Welcome Home has). Eddie himself is made out as the oddball out of all the neighbors, and most people tend to avoid black cats because of bad luck, so Eddie chose Jinx as one of the cat’s names since they can be the odd ones out together
