Wonderflex
My review of wonderflex, it sucks. End of review. Lol In all seriousness, I don't see myself ever purchasing this thermoplastic. I got a sample of it from wonderflex world and after playing with it for about an hour or so this is what I have to say about it. 1) It doesn't adhere to itself or EVA foam at all. The net backing it has is supposed to make it stick to itself easily and I was able to easily pry it apart with out any force behind it. 2) It becomes less rigid after being heated. One of the advantages of thermoplastics is supposed to be the fact that they are a plastic that is easily shaped and molded while holding its rigidity after cooling. Wonderflex loses some of this after being heated. I was able to compare the heated side with the non-heated side and it wasn't as rigid. 3) Its sandpaper texture gets worse after heating. After it was heated and cooled this material's texture was actually more rough and would require more work before it could be painted. 4) It left impressions on the foam. The net backing on wonderflex actually left clear marks on the foam after I attempted to adhere it to the foam. 5) The net backing. Enough said. Summary, I don't see any application in which this material would be more useful over others currently on the market (ie, worbla and thibra). The net backing provides complications while not actually achieving its intended purpose of being adhesive. Its rigidity is lacking. The texture leaves something to be desired. It just plain sucks. Lol
