“So you imprinted on her?” Jared asked the young wolf after he finished telling his story.
“Yes.” Seth nodded putting his head down onto his arms that were resting on the table.
“Isn’t that a good thing?” Jake asked confused by the younger Clearwaters distress.
“Yes. No. Both.” Seth mumbled before lifting his head. “When I started changing I had to abandon her, then without ever looking at her I broke things off. I broke her heart. She’s not just gonna forgive me.”
“I got an idea. Just talk to her.” Paul stated not very helpful even though it was a logical suggestion.
“Its not that easy.” Seth grumbled. They were supposed to be helping him.
“How so?” Quil asked trying to be helpful. Unlike the rest of the pack.
“She won’t even look atme. She looked me in the eye’s once, and that was to make a point. . . her voice cracked and I could hear her after she shut the door, she started crying.” Seth hadn’t said tjat out loud to even himself. It hurt to much to admit he was the reason for her tears. “I really hurt her.”
“She’s your imprint so you have to talk to her. Y/n has to know, for both your sakes. She deserves to know.” Sam told Seth while resting a hand on his shoulder. He felt bad for the kid, he was partly to blame but in the whole pack’s defense they didn’t know she’d be his imprint.
“I want her to know she’s my imprint, soulmate. I want- need her back.” he sighed. It was just his conscience was killing him, it was the bond as well. Not being near her, talking to her, being able to hold her wasn’t only hurting him. It was also hurting his wolf and the imprint bond. Through it could also feel all of y/n’s pain. That just made it worse, knowing he had caused all the pain she was feeling in the first place. Sam is right, so is the pack he knows that he needs to tell her. But how when he shattered her heart and she can barely look at him.

Seth had been trying to get ahold of Y/n for 2 weeks now. He tried texting, calling, leaving voice mails and handwritten letters in her mailbox. And outside her window. But she seemed to have read and listened to all of them but they didn’t change her mind. And he couldn’t blame her. But he wasn’t giving up. So he was now resorting to trying to find her out and about in person. It seemed to have worked.
“y/n-” Seth called out as he rushed up to talk to her as soon as he saw her.
“Go away Seth.” Y/n mumbled trying to mask the pain in her voice with some anger. ‘Why wouldn’t he just drop this?’ she thought in her head.
Seth moved swiftly to stand infront of her stopping her in her tracks, and pleaded. “Please just hear me out.”
Y/n shook her head in disbelief. Why did he have to keep trying so hard after he broke her to begin with. “Haven’t you hurt me enough over the last few months?”
Seth audibly let out a whimper at hearing those words. He had hurt her and in one of the worst ways, but he never wanted to in the first place. “I didn’t mean to-”
“What else did you expect to happen?” Y/n gave him a bewithered look. How can he just break things off and then later decide that he didn’t mean to? It doesn’t work that way. “You broke off our relationship. We told eachother everything, we had said we loved eachother. We were each other’s firsts. I thought we meant something to eachother.”
Seth could feel how her heart squeezed in her chest at her own words. An he hated it, because he knows it was caused by him. But he can’t have her thinking that it all meant nothing. “We did, Y/n! We do. We still do.”
“How can you stand there and say that when you were the one to break things off?” Y/n said while pointing a finger at him. She couldn’t understand why he was going through all this trouble after he broke things off. Of course, she still loves him, she never stopped. But if he didn’t want her anymore then she needed to move on. But his persistence to try and make things right just hurt all the more.
“Y/n, I promise if you just let me explain I can tell you everything I couldn’t before.” Seth begged. Hoping she’d at least hear him out. “I can promise it will all make sense once I explain. An if you still decide after hearing everything I have to say that I should still leave then I will.”
Seth stared at her with pleading begging eyes waiting for her response. Y/n still love’s him, she knows and will admit it to herself. If he could tell her why he broke her heart then why not hear him out. She deserved to know why he ended it. But she was hesitant to give their relationship another chance. Her heart wouldn’t be able to take it if he pulled that again.
“Ok” Y/n agreed deciding to hear him out.
“I promise you won’t regret it.” Seth smiled relieved that she said ‘ok’. It was at least a chance for him to fix this.
“You’re making a lot of promises Clearwater.” Y/n gave him a tight-lipped smile. Hoping to not regret her decision.
“An I’ll follow through on them.” Seth nodded, feeling a little more confident now.
“I hope.” Y/n nodded as well.
