robbie: would you slap your best friend in the face for ten million dollars?
gordo: i’d roundhouse kick you in the face for free
robbie, tearing up: i’m your best friend?
Update: Reading cute gay werewolf romance does NOT help my motivation, loneliness, or sleep schedule during exams.
But god damn it's so fucking good
there are two wolves inside you. one wants to buy the entire green creek series after reading not even a third of the first book.
the other worries if it's gonna become an outlet for your escapist tendencies and overtake your life
green creek is tearing my heart out of my chest and playing with it like play-doh
(it's my first time reading romance and i am suffering)
dodging and weaving between green creek spoilers bc people can't seem to tag things properly
slowly reaching the end of wolfsong and Robbie is so cute and bashful I can't-
like yeah he's acting badly but the emotional loner needy bf material feels out of this world and is my new drug
this book is a tool of psychological torture and i'm here for it. fully expecting to get my heart ripped to pieces by the next one
reading wolfsong and they finally fucked. didn't expect it to be that detailed but i am not complaining
didn't read wolfsong for a week and opening it again was like a bus hitting me square in the face (but like in a good way)
get ready for an upcoming avalanche of posts once i finish it
Finally getting back into reading and once again Robbie is just too cute for my own good, with Kelly adding oil to the fire. Gods help me
the scene in wolfsong when ox realizes he likes joe and all the antics around him afterwards still pop in my head from time to time and i'm so fucking gay for it
it just makes me so giddy and lonely at the same time yknow
Ox with the Bennett family early on in wolfsong

You chose Green Creek for your first romance? Are you insane? It’s going to eat you alive!!!
oh it has been doing just that trust me. i've been putting off finishing wolfsong because it has wrecked my mind and ravaged my heart and i fear withdrawal. it's an absolute torment but just so fucking good
i got interested in reading gay romance and werewolves around the same time, and when searching found two in one: wolfsong.
ALSO- i had just gotten back into reading. it's like the second book i'm reading in the past few months, after years of not reading. aha.
plus it kinda played a big positive role in recent mental health stuff, but that's for another post if i do post my honest rant on how much i love this goddamn book. i want to but still feel kinda weird about being vulnerable online so idk.
tl;dr: pain but good.

Does anyone have a heart to spare i think mine just broke
Ox's thoughts when he meets 10-year-old Joe Bennett:

Ox's thoughts when 17-year-old Joe Bennett finds out Ox finds him attractive:

Has anyone ever thought of wolfsong being made into an animated visual adaptation? I think it would fuck so hard

Aesthetic of Wolfsong by Tj Klune
There are bunch of things that remind me of Ox, Joe, Gordo and the rest. Cant wait to read Ravensong and also do this to second book.

Stone Wolf Emoji Kitchen for all my Green Creek packmates
I just read the entirety of the Green Creek Series, and something super small that absolutely destroyed me was how casual and accepting everyone was with Chris and Tanner’s relationship (definitely a QPR).
Like it was confusing at first, but no one tries to say that their love for each other was lesser than the other couples in the pack. And it really drives home the underlying theme I noticed in the series: platonic love is just as important and worthy as romantic love.
