Laying next to them. Pure bliss as the moon shone through a small sliver in the curtains. Their warmth a blanket against the cold. A small smile spread on their face as you lay asleep. So lucky, they thought to themselves. So lucky to have you next to them, knowing you'd wake up and greet them in happiness. They'd whisper sweet nothing's into your ear, assuring you that they'd love you till the end of time. ...meant to be... ...and there was nothing to it.
