Some ramblings below
This is how Daphne appears before and during the Fall of Domino. I like to think that transformations change along with the person, so the way she looks after her resurrection will be a fair bit different.
Her original design is already really pretty, so I didn't want to stray from it too much - so basic elements like her silhouette remain mostly the same. I kept yellow/gold as her main color, only adding a little bit of cyan and purple to diversify it.
The Dragon Flame is one the defining aspects of her identity. It's simultaneously a great honor and a massive burden, and I tried to imply that in the design. She proudly displays iconography depicting the Great Dragon but its most notable appearence is curled tightly around her waist. Most of the lines of the design meet there, and it's meant to look tight and constricting - the choker around her neck plays into this too.
I also incorporated a few aspects of Marion's canon design, and I've taken them to be the attire of Dominian high society. Her crown takes a lot of inspiration from the one we see on Marion in Magical Adventure, her hair is in a half up half down style, and there's armor around her shoulders, the same as her parents.
I really wanted to add a dragonlike mask but I couldn't make it look good, so she gets some WOOSH around her eyes instead.

Some stuff from the sketch backlog catalogue!
1. Faragonda’s fairy form. She’s the Fairy of Conservation in butterfly verse, here depicted in Enchantix.
2. Princeps Oritel Aglissier and his wife Vazul Marion Aglissier, the two heads of the Dominian Empire (lore post pending, I know). They are wearing megaformal hypermagnate, reserved for royal events of the highest importance. In good Dominian fashion, the bigger the sleeve, the bigger the status/pompousness of the event.
3. Melodean dresses for Musa (1) Galatea (2-3) and Musa again (4-5). Dress nr1 and nr2 of each girl represents the outfits they would wear to the same occasion. (The very first dress is also just the last dress but seen from the back and represents something I would see Musa wear to a formal event where she was the guest of honour (Melody, honour your guardian fairy 2k21)
4. Baby Daphne! Butterfly verse Daphne started attending Alfea when she was 13, far below the average age bracket. Dress 1 is my final design for her Basic Manifest (aka first transformation), dress 2 was just my initial idea, but it was too 80s and not fantasy enough for my taste. The third dres is just general formalwear she would have worn to mee the headmistress.
