Did I make a comic snippet of @oddsconvert a taste of your own medicine because I’m desperate for more Izaak whump and I’m waiting patiently for more chapters… yes. I’ve also never drawn in a comic style before so that was fun. Also the first panel with a grin is a reference from Pinterest, but I can’t find the source, it’s somewhere there.

Background:
Malik is an orphan from Bluebird Orphanage in Portobello. He was known to be an escape artist and a rebel. Taking off at night during curfew to sneak off to the ports and see what pirates did in secret. By the age of 12, he took up the art of stealing, by 15 he learned how to wield a sword (technically stolen), then by 17 he stole from a pirate captain at a bar without realizing who he was. The Captain, being impressed by Malik’s skills, found him and offered him a spot on his ship. Which Malik took eagerly and without question.
Malik very quickly became the second hand man to his Captain on the ship “Sirens Solstice”. Everyone viewed him as someone who was born to be a pirate. Eventually, the Captain took his leave, finding comfort in knowing that Malik would take over after him. Thus, Malik became the Captain of the Sirens Solstice at age 21. He’s been leading this crew for 7 years now, and he’s proven himself as one of the best pirates within the seas. Sailing about the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, and along the Atlantic Ocean.
Personality:
You’d think Malik would have a sense of humility having the origins of an orphan with nothing. On the contrary, he’s a prick and a cocky bastard. He sees the world at his feet and almost thinks he’s untouchable. If something doesn’t go his way, he relies on brute force, fear, and power to get his way. He can be both arrogant and ignorant at times, especially since he thinks he’s always the one in the right. Being the Captain of a loyal crew, he managed to find himself spoiled in riches beyond simple comfort. If you do anything to try to hurt his crew or mess with him, he will be ruthless and maybe even sadistic in his punishments. Whether it be a warning, torture, or death.
That being said, on the occasion he can be a gentleman, to women specifically since he isn’t exactly interested in them romantically. You might find him being charitable towards orphanages near the ports he stops by. He can be somewhat caring and understanding towards people he respects, like his crew or the friends he makes.
