Tumblr, help. Please. Science side specifically.

I can feel when I'm sleeping and my head is pointing a different way to normal.

When I'm sleeping, my head normally lies pointing close to north

However, as I'm staying over at a friend's tonight, Im lying with my head facing almost due eAST

AND I CAN FEEL IT. I didn't even have to check a compass to figure out I was lying east.

I can just t e l l something is off

And it's making itself kNOWN

Every time I try to sleep my brain goes "hey, hey, hey, pal, we're facing a different way to normal, no sleeping tonight!!" And I get lightheaded and feel generally "off"

Is this somehow due to magnetic north??? Is the tiny amount of iron in my blood rushing to the polarity and that's why my head feels light??? /J

I need help??? Am I alone in this??? Is this a neurodivergent thing?? Do I just have a terrifying sense of direction??? My family (except my autistic mother) says I'm weird???
