I have the HC that after Monty electrocuted him, Nexus was left with permanent plate damage, causing him to have a hard time thinking or remembering things. This also gives him chronic migraines and dizziness.
And not even moving to another frame could solve that problem since the damaged part was specifically the plate where the components that hold its memory are located, an important piece of hardware which must be moved from frame to frame or Nexus would end up with no memories and basically being a New New Moon under the care of Dark Sun.
Another HC (and one I actively represent in my Nexus design) is that he changed his nightcap to a simpler one (without stars) and removed the bell. In its place he placed the only whitershards piece he has which causes the tip of the cap to be constantly destroyed and reformed non-stop and creating a kind of cage made out of fabric around the shard.
^ This is also actively harming him. The whitershards only make his condition worse but he doesn't care.
He misses Solar so much, not a day goes by without thinking about him 😔
Nexus also drew his tattoo that he matched with Solar in the new frame (the Nexus frame). Solar unfortunately no longer has his part of the tattoo in the frame that Eclipse made for him.
