Wendy Koopa - Tumblr Posts

So, I finally finished the other 4 Koopalings! (Well, technically 3 + Junior, but I often call them 8 Koopalings to keep it easy)

But, I present to you

Roy Koopa

(His shoes/boots are a sort of work in progress, since I'm not sure if I want to keep em like this, but I couldn't find/think of anything better for him.)

Roy is the strong and tough one. I feel like he would love to show off his muscles, and what better way to do so by plainly displaying them? The camouflage printed pants fitted his brash and rough personality. We cannot forget that Roy is also amongst the coolest of the crew, for which I used the pattern on his shoes. Flames, yet in more of his pink and purple colouring scheme.

Wendy Koopa

Wendy is the fashionista, unfortunately I am not, so I hope I worked out well enough. (It's also partly why I had trouble coming up with clothing ideas for her).

First and foremost, I gave her hair. The games really did her dirty by not giving her any. I thought her bow would fit perfectly for her to use it to set her hair in a ponytail. Of course, we couldn't forget her bracelets, necklace and heels either. I eventually went with giving her a shirt with bell sleeves, and an airy skirt to go with it. (And a gold belt for over its overflow).

Morton Koopa

Morton is the only one in much darker colouring than his siblings, so my headcanon is that he has some form of Melanism (Albinism is the lack of melanin to give colours, turning it white, he has the opposite, as Melanism is the overabundance of this, turning it black). Due to having some form of Melanism, he has 'reverse' Vitiligo.

I remembered his as a boss of Dessert land, assigning his the colour yellow to work with. He also wears sandals because of this. But to also still keep with his original black white colour scheme (+ a little bit of brown), it's where the colouring of his shirt comes in.

(Bowser) Junior Koopa

The youngest and one of the most wild ones of the group. I feel like he would not have the patience to tie his shoes, so his dad got him velcro strap shoes. Of course his famous Bandana around his neck could not be forgotten. The rest of his clothes are inspired by what I often see small(er) kids wearing. Just some loose-ish clothes, of course in Juniors colours.

Like said in my other/first half of posting my human form for these kids, this is placed in order of oldest to youngest. It's just that Larry is supposed to be in between Morton and Junior. But due to already having been revealed in the other part, he isn't shown here.

Talking about the other part, I have decided to change Ludwig's eye colour. He has the same brown grayish eyes as Morton on that drawing, but I will be drawing him with Dark blue eyes from now on. (Due to my now headcanon, which is an extension of Mortons, is that Ludwig kinda has Melanism too. He was supposed to be Larry's blue, but due to this condition, he became a much darker shade of blue).

My Koopalings pride headcanons

Happy Pride guys!

To celebrate pride, I decided to share my pride headcanons for my Koopalings. (I will only go into the sexuality part if I have vibes for it, otherwise it's romantic).

Ludwig; Gay and Ace (he likes guys, but he just doesn't see the appeal in sex).

Iggy; Bi/Pan. Perhaps a bit leaning towards guys, but if it's a girl that he likes, he certainly won't mind. It's about mind and chemistry, not the gender. Also Demi. He really needs/wants to know the person first, before he starts to really fall in love.

Lemmy; Pan. Just… Look at that hair. I couldn't give him anything else than that… (Besides. He just feels like the one to honestly not care about that shit.)

Roy; Bi. Both guys and girls are good. One side has positives that the other gender doesn't have, but that exact same thing is true in reverse.

Wendy; Still deciding if I want her to be a lesbian or be hetero cause she didn't have as clear of a vibe as the others did. Only thing I do know about my Wendy, is that she would fall head over heals pretty fast.

Morton; Demi. He only gets the feeling if he already knows the person. He thinks he is "capable" of feeling romantic feelings, he just hasn't had them yet. (He uses the word "capable" for feelings for romantic stuff, because Ludwig says that he's pretty much "incapable" of liking the idea of sex.) Also, Pan, cause he wouldn't mind the gender though. Much like his older brothers Iggy and Lemmy, whatever happens, happens.

Larry; Guys. Just, guys. (Aka gay.) He never really understood the appeal of girls whenever a guy talks about them. However… when he overheard, (or sometimes even joined,) the girls and their talk about boys… Now that was stuff he was interested in.

Junior; Hetero. Gladly wears rainbows to support his sibling/family though.

Koopaling clan Headcanons - Human Culture

So we're both aware that dimensional travel between humans and Mushroom World citizens is canon. Mario and Luigi are canonically italian plumbers from Brooklyn, and some other characters are human in the Mario setting, an alien species in this world setting. An event common enough in my AU to gain a special division in Bowser's army! So how would the koopaling clan treat these aliens?

Ludwig owes his pianist career to human music. In the mushroom world, pianos are way too difficult for four fingered creatures, and having to tune them? They're treated mostly as rich people decoration, because trying to play anything is too much of a hassle. Ludwig tried to learn it by himself, however with barely any piano players and zero access to tutorials, he sounded terrible, to the point where people joked he's partially deaf. If it wasn't for Luigi who noticed him trying to steal his classical cassette player to try to replicate the pieces, and gifted him piano books and sheet notes translated by hand to darklandian, he would've been stuck smashing the keyboard for arguably the rest of his life. It's not just piano for Ludwig, either. He likes any art that comes from humans, intrigued by how good humans can get at it with zero access to magic! His favorite art period is Romanticism.

Lemmy has a lukewarm treatment of humans. He wants his tricks to be original, and it always annoys him when he discovers that his stunt, yet again, was made by a human before. But at the same time, they're fun to be around, certainly Luigi to pull pranks on him!

to Roy, human stuff is for NEEERDS. Wait. They have Jackie Chan? Okay, maybe human stuff isn't that bad..

Iggy uses human resources as a reference to his experiments. He loves discovering how different the experiments go, from different atmosphere and unique, earth specific factors. It's less biased than native research, either claiming that toads good koopas bad, or vice versa, and he really appreciates it. He also loves learning about human pets (carefully, to not make Ein jealous), especially insects!

Wendy enjoys learning human fashion, and snatching up pieces of the styling knowledge to herself. She also begs Luigi each time he goes back to Brooklyn for soap operas, because the darklandian television would've never dropped so low, and god is it entertaining.

Morton isn't interested in human culture too much. He once tried an Earth protein recipe and couldn't handle how much of it humans could have in one sitting. It took him a solid month to trust that Luigi's pasta isn't packed with powdered protein. (Don't even try to tell him that some people eat the protein raw)

And where's Larry, in all of it? He's too lazy to get interested by himself, he'd need a solid motivation to form an opinion on humans. Though he would absolutely love the meme culture if he ever discovers it, and God have mercy if he ever does.

Headcanon dump - Wendy Orlean Von Koopa (Wendy O. Koopa)

birthday: May 28th

Wendy has alopecia, and often wears wigs. She's growing more confident about her lack of hair, though :)

her red coral necklace is inherited from her late mother

She's the only clan member who doesn't wear second claws (spiked bracelets). Her claws are the longest and she doesn't need extra support

She works a part time job as a stylist at Birdetta's saloon. It's a great cover up for her actual occupation as a member of an assassin clan, and she gets to perfect her eye for fashion

She's fixated on her wealth and status, joining the clan in that sensitive spot in the development where she gets aware of the status/money, but not old enough to correctly process it. She comes off as a spoiled brat because of it, but she means well

She has a short temper, and despite her outward appearance she is tomboyish thanks to being raised with 6 brothers, arguably more aggressive than Roy (which is a noteworthy achievement)

Wendy absolutely loves water, in all forms. Whether chilling at the beach or ice skating, she's always doing everything to end up somewhere around water. Which is natural for an aqua caster

Her fashion sense is best described as gyarū, if we want to pin point it, kōgal. The beachy energy, bright hair, endless phone charms and bracelets describes her to the tee. However she is eager to experiment with any colorful and hyperfeminine fashion style

her gold bangles serve a second function - they can turn into magic resistant handcuffs to help capture the clan's targets.

She is defacto the spokesperson for the Koopaling Clan. Approachable yet not easy to manipulate, a perfect in between

She specializes in social settings that require gentleness. Higher politicians, scandals, corruptions, if the situation requires high emotional intelligence, she's up for it

her weapon of choice for this reason are usually small, unassuming objects. Because that bedazzled gun surely is just a toy, just like this little pink pen that surely isn't a knife

Although she is not the physical tank of the clan, she has one of the highest body counts, reliably neutralizing targets without a trace

she loves helping others get better at styling, if they allow her. Ludwig didn't get so good at embracing his inner romantic goth by himself, y'know?

She almost always has some sort of gum on her, a habit to help pop her ears became a long term thing

She likes to draw a mole on herself, comically it almost always changes positions, she just puts it where it clicks the most on a certain day (a reference to her art, love y'all)

Kootie Pie is arguably the closest personality wise to her older counterpart, maybe became calmer and more lethal but her core traits remain the same

She wouldn't stop getting teased on her 16th birthday because of her 6 year old self demanding America for her birthday, being convinced she's 16 and not 6 (the adventures of super mario bros 3 reference)

She's by all means a feminist, wants to hop in to any mission which involves a female client or a female victim(s). She knows exactly what being ignored due to her gender is like, and wants to do some good to women in a similar position

She doesn't have a particular close person in the clan. She's always been more on the side, hesitant as the only girl of the group. All of her brothers love her dearly, though.

I'm not even talking about surface level "ah we're siblings so of course we love each other". They definitely got influenced by Wendy's presence in how they treat women, getting a healthy female figure as a reference to what should they do. Believe me, her scratches can break down even Roy's most stubborn stunts.

She loves her ribbons, wearing them both with or without the wig. It bordelines on obsession, she has one for every single occasion

her favorite color is actually red, but she wants to look more approachable so usually wears pink.

She absolutely loves decorating anything. other people, interior, exterior, gardens, nails, cakes, you name it. She often is seen designing whatever comes to her mind

She may look and act like a mean popular girl, but she really does care, she's just bad at displaying it

she is ALWAYS fashionably late. She's quite analytical like Ludwig and gets busy ensuring the safest route (that includes starbucks/hj) to the destination.

She loves trashy media, trashy pop, trashy soap operas, anything so bad that it's good. She enjoys laughing at the stupidity of it

Just because she loves hyperfeminine things, it doesn't mean that she's stupid. Most of her targets had made this exact mistake, assuming she's just another dumb blonde and where are they? ✨in the grave✨

I think I’m starting to get a hang of formatting but yea my favorite koopalings are Wendy and Ludwig^^

The 3rd was for experimenting with lineart and adding highlights to coloring; the rest was just drawing headcanons that I have bc koopaling sibling interaction is epic👊✨

All 7 of the koopalings love having weekly karaoke nights that usually occur either after work or on a weekend

Last post is based on bjj where Ludwig tends to infodump a lot so the others just kinda switch off every time (When it’s Wendy’s turn, she’ll either be on her phone bc she said time to be ✨r u d e✨ or paint Ludwig’s nails not like he would notice anyways)

(I can't think rn so these might come off as vague as possible my bad; ;)

-Bastards. All of them

-Act like any other siblings and try to piss each other off.

-An angry Wendy however, is never a good time.

-The only time they form an alliance is during missions or in order get their way.

-On duty as Bowser's elite force, they take their job's in high regard and with maybe occasional goofing off (depend on who we're talking about) Off duty though, they act like literal clowns.

-The Koopalings have their weekly karaoke nights and either take turns paying or invite a guest only to ditch them last second, leaving the payment onto the guest.

-They are usually in charge of Junior when Bowser's gone or if Kamek decides to dump them with the responsibility. They definitely draw straws.

-All of them are musically talented! (Singing as well but all of them have completely vast stylesfnndnddn).

Larry: Dj mixer and preferably midi fighter since he likes the lil dial's bright colors:)

Wendy: Harp and bass

Morton: Drums

Iggy: FUCKING KAZOO or literally any instrument that gives off chaotic vibes

Roy: Electric guitar😎

Lemmy: Calliope! Cornet as well

Ludwig: Bruh, mf can and will play every single instrument in order to prove his superiority LOL (his only weakness being brass instruments bc of his tooth; he will burn you to a crisp instead)

All his children are reunited again! But someone is missing...

Wendy: Here are some outfits!! It was so hard to choose which ones I wanted to show you, since I have so many!! Though I usually where the same thing (for work).

Jackets and mini skirts are her favorite. Honestly this is only 1/40 of her closet. As soon as she gets her check, she'll spend it on clothes, shoes, and makeup.
