shokora also deserves a lot more coverage in Nintendo games, she's honestly such a little cutie and her story is super interesting; not to mention the little kiss she gave wario was so cute and sweet, and the fact he actually looked happy about it HELLOOOO?? also also not to mention when the temples were crumbling not only did he carry her out, (when she's the black cat, also known as kuro-neko, she's on top of his hat when he's climbing out) but he let her go first!! she's my second fave Mario princess honestly, (I think it's obvious who's my first favourite LOL)

Wario’s official bio ‘today’ states he’s a childhood friend of Mario turned rival but surprisingly few others from old games described him as the bros’ cousin. I remember when I first read that piece of info I had this thought (today you call it headcanon) if he was blood-related to them, perhaps the rivalry with our hero was a family thing and the origin of his weird name was part of it; maybe his parents were so obsessively hating on Luigi and Mario’s that they named their kid Wario just to have what, to them, sounded like the cooler version of the other family’s first son. Lmao, can ya imagine?
