Version 3 - Tumblr Posts

It’s finally here!!!!
Here is version three
Oh, and something to note before saying anything further, the reason why he is flirting with the MC, is not just because he thinks she is cute, its because of the symbol on her forehead. (Kind of a special symbol that is about a royal werecreature or something....)
Also, the name of the MC might change, i usually write MY name there whether or not it is ACTUALLY me, or if it is someone else. Its easier to write myself as the MC, as I know how to write myself...
Also, anything in (), are notes that are not going to be in the finish product, its an author’s note, as well as giving some context to anyone who can help me with this.

I began hearing some kind of odd moaning or whining sounds coming from the room down the left of the hall, which made me worry that someone was in pain, hurting, or in need of some help. Of course, as myself, I didn’t have the strength or knowledge to help them directly, but I could get someone who could, after figuring out what the problem indeed was.
So, I jogged down the hall and found myself standing in front of the door that supposedly was the entrance to Salvador’s room.
It had been slightly left open, and it had appeared to have been slightly forced open at one point. I could see the door slightly off of its correct angle, and the screws had been loosened a bit. There were claw marks somewhat on the floor and around the door handle.
I put my eye to the door to peek inside, as I did not wish to be barging into a place where maybe, possibly, in fact no one was hurt, but rather maybe straining to pick something up, or had simply scratched themselves and needed no medical attention.
The closet had been thrown open, some of the clothing inside had been messed around with, seemingly in some sort of hurry. Some lay upon the floor of the closet, as they had slipped off of their hangers and not picked up afterwards.
I could see something that looked like the toe of a busted up shoe peeking out from a box in the back corner of the closet, which made me wonder what could have busted up such a thing in such a way. Not that I really was concerned about it at the moment.
Salvador was standing in front of a tall mirror, messing with something with his face. Which made me a bit confused. Did he cut his face?
As I saw no sign of blood anywhere, I did not think that there was an actual problem. And so, I was about to lean back into the hallway, to return to my own hotel room, when Salvador turned his head and saw me peeking.
Now that’s when I saw what he had been doing.
In his hand was his fake teeth, which wasn’t something that I didn’t know about, everyone knew that he had fake teeth, but it was his REAL teeth that shocked me. They were FANGS! Thick, sharp, monstrous looking fangs, like those of a… wolf!
His expression changed to a bit of shock, before becoming a curious mix of frustration and playfulness. I didn’t think it was possible to have an expression with those mixed, but he managed to pull it off.
I backed up into the hall, frantically, as he had quickly ran after me, towards the door.
I thought he was simply just going to slam the door and enter back inside. I would have had gotten a talk to later, but at least I had somewhat of a good reason to try to see inside of the room. I thought he was hurt, or in pain!
But instead, as I sheepishly crept down the hallway, trying to push the heated temperature out of my head and elsewhere, I heard the door somewhat slam open.
I flinched as I slowly turned around, I couldn’t describe the feeling of building suspense filling up inside of me. Salvador leaned out of his room, his hand gripping onto the side of the door frame, digging his fingers into it, somehow, somewhat causing divots into the wood. Wow, this guy was strong. His expression showed, well, a bit of taunting, but also mischief.
“Oh, Cassidy, come here please~” He slowly cooed, slowly motioning me over to come to him.
I did not feel safe anymore around him, but for a different reason. I did not think that this was simply because I had seemingly tried to get into his room without being invited. I must have seen something that I was not supposed to have seen.
Perhaps his fangs?
I did not, in fact, return to him, in fear of what he might have done to me if he had gotten his hands on me now. There must have been a reason why he didn’t want people to know about his fangs, and I wasn’t planning to wait another moment to find that reason out.
So, instead of walking over to him, I began to slowly back away, intending to hopefully silently, plead as an apology to my intrusion. Hoping that maybe, he didn’t know what I specifically saw his fangs, or at least, not until he had turned around, and that I did not question it.
“I said, come here, kid,” Salvador slowly, but still harshly whispered, stepping out into the hall.
I began trying to think up a reason why I had to leave at that moment, without going up to him.
“Uh, I think I just heard my mom call me from my hotel room, I gotta go see what she wants…” I stuttered, putting my hands up, before quickening my pace backwards.
Salvador stopped a bit, as if trying to hear for my mother’s voice, before his expression turned to slight mockery.
“Funny, I don’t hear anything apart from our own breathing, lass.” He said, “And I have bloody damn good hearing.”
I didn’t continue to make any more excuses before I turned around and began running. Running for what I felt like was my life.
“Ooh, a chase! How fun!” I could hear him grumble behind me, as he began running after me.
His footsteps sounded heavier and louder than I thought that they would have, even for someone with his body type, (not judging, I don’t have a thin body either), and I was amazed that I hadn’t been caught almost immediately, as I wasn’t the fastest runner. I wasn’t known for my speed.
At first, I was intending to find the stairs, but then I realized that I had already missed them, as they were on the other side of the building, so I then decided for aiming for the elevator, perhaps I could get to it before Salvador caught up to me?
I managed to duck through several side halls, jumping over some maid carts and stuff, hoping to maybe slow Salvador down, but when I looked back to see how close he was, I simply saw him effortlessly lead over them, without even a single attempt to use his arms to assist him!
How strong was this guy?
I could finally see the elevator in sight, I could see Abraham walk into it and press the button. He didn’t even seem to see me as I basically slammed into the door right after it had closed.
I wasn’t foolish enough to try banging on it, pleading for Abraham on the inside to open the door again, as the elevator had been already making its way down. I ran down the hall to the left, hoping that it would bring me back around to where the stairs were, hoping to get back down to my mother and father, who had said that they were having coffee at the bakery across the street.
I could suddenly hear Salvador’s footsteps becoming weaker, not as close, to my happiness, allowing me to get to the stairs and rush down them.
My feet pounded into the carpet and out the front door, into the streets.
I only stopped to catch my breath as I opened the front doors of the coffee shop, where I knew that if I was caught, there would be plenty of people to see me and rescue me. Not that I really worried that Sal was going to kill me, but you never knew.
I looked around for my parents, and I could see them sitting at a table in the back corner. I sighed, before making my way over to where they sat.
“Cassidy? What are you doing here?” Mom asked as I approached them.
I didn’t feel like they would believe me if I told them the truth of why I was there, so I just said what I could.
“I was feeling lonely, and since you were so close, I decided to walk over here.” I explained, sitting down in the empty chair at the table.
The server had soon passed by the table again and asked me if I had wanted anything. So I ordered a hot cocoa and a piece of chocolate cake, to my parent’s somewhat surprise, and when I got it, I could feel like I was being watched by someone who I wasn’t happy about being watched by.
I glanced out the window and saw Salvador standing outside and looking in through the window, staring straight at me, with a grin that told me that I had just escaped something that could have ended with something horrendous.
I just looked away and focused upon my drink and food until my parents and I had finished our breakfasts.
Mom and dad payed both of the bills and led me outside of the building. By that time Sal had moved on, somewhere else, or at least, I couldn’t see him anymore. I was glad about that, but I was worrying about where he indeed was. At least I had my parents with me.

The next morning, I decided to go to the coffee shop with my parents, so I grabbed my cellphone, which my parents knew about, as well as my sketchbooks and laptop, as I felt like those were my most valuable possessions that I absolutely COULDN’T live without, just in case Sal decided to snoop around my room to figure out where I had been or what I had done or things that I deemed very private. That included my drawings and stories, despite them not having anything to do with him.
It was very rare that I would have even shown my parents my drawings and stories, you know, they were very private, and my parents were known to be very judgmental and apt to jump to conclusions that they do not need to jump to.
We sat at the same table, this time, and the same server came by and took our orders and whatnot. I ordered the same thing again, and I was about to think that this whole morning would have been the same way that it had been the morning before. Just a breakfast with my parents in the coffee shop, or at least, the only disturbance would be Sal looking through the window.
However, soon after the server walked away with our orders, Sal approached the table. He looked calm, happy, as if he had planned to do something and was expecting it to go absolutely perfectly.
“Hello again, fancy seeing you here!” He said, sounding rather pleased.
“Hello, Sal!” Dad replied, “How’s it going?”
“I’m doing good,” Sal sighed, “I just wanted to know if Cassidy was free to do some stargazing on Wednesday night this week. It’s supposed to be the night where the stars would be the brightest and I wanted to know if she’d be free at that point.”
Mom and Dad looked at each other and shrugged.
I on the other hand flushed, I was terrified, I did not wish to be left alone with Salvador for a single moment.
“Come on, Cassidy, what do you say?” Mom asked.
“I, uh.” I stammered.
“Is there a reason why you don’t want to take him up on his offer?” Mom asked, “He’s a very nice man, and this is a great time to see the stars!”
I blushed, worried, absolutely terrified that my parents were taking the side of the person who quite terrifyingly chased me down the hall back to my room, and now I was regretting my decision to not call them and tell them what had happened immediately.
“Well, lets just say yes, until something comes up and she cannot go then,” Dad said, nodding.
“Great!” Sal said, excitedly, “Excited to see you then!”
He walked off and sat down at a different table, before another server went over to take his order.
I sank down in my chair, pissed off secretly that my parents decided to answer Salvador for me, something that I never thought that they would do, especially with someone whom we had only met for around a week and a half.
(The reason this happened is because werecreatures have pheromones that would make people more susceptible to people agreeing with them, of course, they only use this at a minimum due to them having to use effort to use them. So, they are very selective about how and when they use it. Also, although people CAN resist it, it is hardest when you aren’t entirely sure that it is being used on your or at all).
My parents began talking about some other topic, as if the conversation with Salvador had never occurred in the first place, which to be honest, I didn’t really notice due to my embarrassment and uncomfortableness. I could hear what sounded like a buzzing inside of my head, a noise that I always heard when I felt absolutely terrified of something that was going to come up, like going to work, having my pelvis exam, and, well, now this.
I didn’t say anything for the rest of the breakfast, I ate my cake and drank my cocoa in silence, thinking about the odd decision of my parents and stuff. Typically they would never let anyone go off with my on my own, let alone with someone whom we have met super recently.
After a while, mom, dad and I left the coffee shop and headed back to the hotel. I didn’t even use my laptop or my sketchbooks while thee, although to be honest, using them wasn’t necessarily the reason I brought them in the first place. I just wanted to make sure that Sal didn’t end up going to my room and snooping through my stuff.
But I guess I didn’t really need to worry about it, as Sal was already here.

Mom and dad had set me up for everything, mom gave me the map to the forest, a flashlight, and some snacks. I tied my shoes and exited the hotel with an immense amount of worry in my chest and head.
I couldn’t believe that my parents had set me up for this, I couldn’t believe that I didn’t tell them what had happened and the reason for my uncomfortableness around Salvador. Every time I seemed to have gathered the courage, either Sal himself or Abraham came out and began interacting with my parents!
I walked down the street slowly, hoping to think up maybe a plan to defend myself from what possibly Sal would do to me. Perhaps I would run away, which would hurt me to leave all my stories and stuff behind, but then again, I could leave them behind as well if I had died from Sal, but you know.
Despite trying to be as slow as I could, it was surprising to me at how quickly I had gotten to the entrance to the forest. I stood and stared at the entrance staring at the trees, and then at the stars. I had to admit, although they were indeed pretty, they didn’t seem to be any brighter than any other night.
I could have chocked that up to the fact that I wasn’t an astrologist, and I never really thought about how bright stars were. I was always either sleeping or typing up stories before bed, to really worry about the brightness of the stars. Still, it all seemed fishy, it seemed fishy from the very beginning.
But I couldn’t turn back now, I guess, so I took my first step into the forest and entered.
At first, the walk seemed rather peaceful, the feint wind pushing by me, the crunch of the leaves under my feet, and the rustles of the tree branches. If I had my parents were with me, I would have found this peaceful at the very beginning. But under these specific circumstances, everything seemed like they had an underlying sense of dread.
As I slowly continued through the forest, I wondered when I was going to encounter Salvador, as he WAS the one who had invited me here. Had he simply invited me there to get mugged, or simply lost and die of starvation?
Suddenly, I heard an extra crunch of a twig behind me, or somewhere around me, that I knew wasn’t my own, to which I had stopped to make sure if I had actually heard it, or perhaps I was hearing things due to how nervous I was.
Although the noise came again, it also came with the wind, so if anyone was out there, following me, it was either Salvador, someone who was being very tactical about making noises with the wind, or nothing.
I continued walking again, this time with the thought in mind that I was being followed.
The sounds began to get louder, and quicker, and I realized that if I did not speed up I would have been caught by whoever or whatever had been behind me.
I sped up, and actually began running as I could hear the cracking of the twigs and leaves become quicker and louder than before.
I ran into a clearing, to where I looked behind me to see if anything had followed me out, only to then bump into something in front of me. I freaked out at first, but quickly found that it was Salvador, whom, at that time, due to the scariness of what I had just exited from, was quite safe, or at least compared.
“Hello, lass.” Sal said, his voice not exactly as calming or reassuring that I was hoping for, but rather in a tone that suggested that he knew exactly what I was running from and that he was planning on me to be chased, but I just hoped that it wasn’t the case, and that my introvertedness was just playing tricks on me.
“Hello, Sal.” I whispered.
“Nice to see that you actually took me up on the offer, ever since the big mistake you made last week,” He whispered, “I never thought that you would really fall for it.”
My face dropped, and I began backing away as he reached out for me.
Oh great, this was what I was worried about.
“Wh-what?” I stuttered, looking around me for something I could grab and use as either a distraction or weapon. I was hoping for a distraction as I did not wish to actually hurt anyone, even as I was probably going to be hurt, or kidnapped by Sal.
“Oh, don’t you see? You never thought that I would come back to get you after you saw my secret?” He asked, walking towards me, “You really think that after you saw my secret, that I wouldn’t come back for you and you wouldn’t get some sort of punishment?”
I could hear some more movement coming from the forest. I looked behind me and saw Abraham exiting the mass of trees and into the clearing.
“Good job Abraham,” Sal said, “You did better than I expected.”
Abraham rolled his eyes, annoyed by the fact that Sal had even the thought that he couldn’t have done what he did.
“You underestimate my abilities, sir.” He muttered.
Sal turned to look back to me, to which I had been forced by instinct to the ground and curl up into a ball, my hands over my head, almost as if I was trying to shrink into non-existence, despite knowing that it was quite impossible for me to do so.
I couldn’t even possibly think to lift my head to meet Salvador’s eye contact as he slowly approached me. I dug my fingers into my scalp, especially into the part that I always found itchy all the time, as hard as I could to distract me from the horrendous events occurring around me.
I could feel a vibration in my pocket, someone texting me, probably my parents wondering how I was doing. But I couldn’t text them back, I couldn’t move, in fear of being hurt by trying to contact help, to have someone come save me from this whole thing.
“I dreamt about you last night.” Sal hummed, grinning as he bent down and tipping my head up with a fingertip underneath my chin, forcing me to make eye contact with him. His expression showed calm mischief, a terrifying mix for someone who was probably intending me some kind of harm.
“You looked the same as you did last week, and you were beautiful.” He whispered, “And now, no one will get to see your beauty but me.” He tweaked my nose before kissing it.
Although I could see it was Salvador, he didn’t seem like the man that I had met before.
“Wh-who are you?” I asked, merely out of instinct. I did not really wish to ask him a question of any kind, as I did not wish to begin a conversation. My introvertedness, even prior to this whole event, wouldn’t have allowed me to do it, unless he had started the conversation himself.
“You haven’t figured it out?” Salvador asked, he sounded although shocked, calm, or even a bit amused.
I began to regret asking him the question, let alone anything.
“You haven’t heard about the rumors of the werecreatures?” Abraham asked, although Sal looked like he was going to ask the same thing.
“I-I thought they were simply rumors…” I whimpered, I could feel my hands begin to quiver, and my mind was too full of fear to click things together.
“You really DON’T know who I am?” Sal asked, wrapping his entire hand underneath my chin, digging his claws into my cheeks. I tried my best to keep the tears that threatened to run down my face to stay in, I did not wish to show any more weakness than I already was.
I didn’t respond to him in any way, I did not wish to continue our conversation, I knew that the moment I tried to talk, I would have burst out in tears.
“I would have sworn you would have realized it the moment you had seen me.” He chuckled, baring his teeth, revealing his knife-like teeth, “You, my poor child, are so nieve.”
“I say we deal with her now, before someone gets suspicious and realizes that she’s gone.” Abraham suggested, sounding unamused.
“Agreed, advisor.” Sal growled, still smiling. I could see something change about him, as if he was transforming into something else.
“Please, I thought you were in pain! I wanted to see if you were ok! I didn’t mean to see anything!” I began to plead, believing that I was going to either die by being torn to shreds, or being eaten alive, “Please, sir, please don’t kill me!”
Salvador’s grin turned to be more amused, than simple intimidation.
“Please? Oh, I like it when you say that.” He smirked, he pulled my face closer to his, his face was mostly pressed into the side of mine. “Do it again.” He hummed.
“Awe, she cares!” Abraham sarcastically cooed, I could hear him cracking his knuckles behind me. I was worried that he was just about to attack me or something.
But before he could do such a thing, Salvador picked me up, tucked me underneath his arm and then began walking deeper into the forest. I naturally, on instinct, began trying to squirm, but was naturally unable to get out of his grip.
Suddenly, I could feel Salvador beginning to change around me, I could both hear and feel his clothing strain to stay around him, and I could hear some of the threads snapping apart. I could feel fur beginning to grow and cover his rapidly growing body, as he walked.
“You’re going to be my little caged princess, and soon…” Salvador began, but he was interrupted by Abraham.
“This is NOT what I was talking about Sal.” He grumbled.
“And so what about what you meant?” Sal asked, “YOU aren’t the ruler, are you?”
-
Or
“You’re going to be my little caged princess, and soon…” Salvador began, my fear completely drowned out the rest of what he had said. But I caught a glance at Abraham, who looked frustrated, as if THIS wasn’t what he had meant when he said, “deal with her.”
As Salvador’s transformation continued, the fur began being tightly pressed up against my body. And despite me being absolutely filled with terror, it was thick and warm, counteracting the cold weather surrounding us. Allowing my fear to be overridden somewhat, or at least, just to the point where I could understand the conversation between Salvador and Abraham.
“And it looks like you got yourself a good meal.” Sal commented, passing by several strange looking rocks with runes on them, “Who did you end up eating Abraham?”
Abraham sighed and rubbed his face tiredly.
“Oh you know, Harold tried to get in the way between me and Cassidy, tried to face me, and, well, we all know how that turned out.” Abraham replied, he sounded like he wanted to go to bed, but I thought that werecreatures were nocturnal… oh well.
-
It cannot be Harold, or known to be Harold, as he wasn't even MENTIONED in this version...
-
“Too bad, I always liked that poor sap.” Sal sighed, “Anyway, it’s way past midnight and I believe it would be much more dangerous to stay out past then. I’ll need to spend some more time with the little one before sunrise anyway.”
He tightened his grip around me for a bit, before he patted my face.
“Seriously, you gotta deal with her before then, as someone WILL come looking for her.” Abraham grumbled.
“And you doubt my fighting abilities?” Sal asked, squinting his eyes, as he watched Abraham skulk into the darkness and thickness of the trees, before turning around and entering some kind of cave system.
