Here is the 2nd version

This is the alternate version of being caught by Abraham... this time, he has led me to the Hotel before showing himself.

(Again, the begining is the same, its just when they stop me is what is different).

This is the alternate version of the being captured by Abraham

I began hearing some kind of odd moaning or whining sounds coming from the room down the left of the hall, which made me worry that someone was in pain, hurting, or in need of some help. Of course, as myself, I didn’t have the strength or knowledge to help them directly, but I could get someone who could, after figuring out what the problem indeed was.

So, I jogged down the hall and found myself standing in front of the door that supposedly was the entrance to Salvador’s room.

It had been slightly left open, and it had appeared to have been slightly forced open at one point. I could see the door slightly off of its correct angle, and the screws had been loosened a bit. There were claw marks somewhat on the floor and around the door handle.

I put my eye to the door to peek inside, as I did not wish to be barging into a place where maybe, possibly, in fact no one was hurt, but rather maybe straining to pick something up, or had simply scratched themselves and needed no medical attention.

The closet had been thrown open, some of the clothing inside had been messed around with, seemingly in some sort of hurry. Some lay upon the floor of the closet, as they had slipped off of their hangers and not picked up afterwards.

I could see something that looked like the toe of a busted up shoe peeking out from a box in the back corner of the closet, which made me wonder what could have busted up such a thing in such a way. Not that I really was concerned about it at the moment.

Salvador was standing in front of a tall mirror, messing with something with his face. Which made me a bit confused. Did he cut his face?

As I saw no sign of blood anywhere, I did not think that there was an actual problem. And so, I was about to lean back into the hallway, to return to my own hotel room, when Salvador turned his head and saw me peeking.

Now that’s when I saw what he had been doing.

In his hand was his fake teeth, which wasn’t something that I didn’t know about, everyone knew that he had fake teeth, but it was his REAL teeth that shocked me. They were FANGS! Thick, sharp, monstrous looking fangs, like those of a… wolf!

His expression changed to a bit of shock, before becoming a curious mix of frustration and playfulness. I didn’t think it was possible to have an expression with those mixed, but he managed to pull it off.

I backed up into the hall, frantically as he ran after me, towards the door.

I bolted down the hall, towards the direction of my hotel room. I could hear his footsteps after me, but luckily, I could hear someone else headed up the stairs to the floor that I was on. Thank the Lord.

I ducked into the maintenance hall, the hall that connected to nearly every other hallway on the 2nd floor, and that included my own hotel room. I ducked and weaved through and past the maintenance carts and trolleys, and although I didn’t hear Salvador’s footsteps after me for a while, I did not think that I was safe until I was in my hotel room where my cellphone was, so I could call my parents. Even to just talk to them to calm myself down, rather than tell them what I had seen.

I threw myself into my hotel room and slammed the door closed behind me. I pinned my back up against the door, panting like a mad person. My head was light, and my vision swam. My body did not like it when I ran, as it was not made to do so.

I didn’t hear Salvador’s booming footsteps approaching the door from the other side, to my relief, and I reached up to lock the door.

After managing to catch my breath, I got up off of the floor and went to lay down upon my bed, to grab my cellphone, connect to the Wi-Fi and watch some youtube videos to calm down.

I didn’t really think much of it, the whole fact that Salvador had sharp teeth, I mean, if I too had those kind of teeth, I would probably try to hide it too. It probably was a hell of a problem when it came to eating, accidentally biting the inside of one’s tongue or cheek, would be horrendously painful.

I ran because, of course, he had ran after me, rather than simply saying, “HEY! WHATS THE PROBLEM?” or something along those lines. I didn’t really have the courage to face someone so intimidating, and with the expression that he had given me prior to running after me, it was absolutely terrifying.

The air was cold, my shoes had been lost a couple stores back, my bare feet freezing upon the pavement below. The moon, a half moon, shone down from the sky, lighting the streets of the town/village to what would have been a warming glow, if I didn’t feel so… watched.

I was headed back to my hotel room, as fast as I could without looking suspicious, like some kind of theif in the night, or hurting myself by either stepping on a sharp stone or tripping on a loose rock. I couldn’t believe that my shoes would have been sunk into the deep mud so quickly, nor expected the mud to be so deep.

It was foolish for me to think that wearing a t-shirt to rush to the gift stop that late in the night, hoping that I could grab the last cool looking mask before they shut down for the night, but I got there too late, and it had closed before I had even arrived.

Goosebumps not only rose upon my arm because it was cold however, I felt like I was being followed and watched by someone. I had a feeling that this person was dangerous, as why would someone trustworthy try to hide themselves while watching someone else?

“Ok, Cassidy, you can do this. You’re just a few more blocks away from the hotel, just a cold win, you aren’t in any danger.” I told myself, wrapping my arms around myself to keep me warm.

I could suddenly hear the clicking upon the cobble of a nearby alleyway, the nearby alleyway that I was just in front of passing. Another’s footsteps no doubt.

It felt like I was being watched by something other than a simple mugger or criminal. More like something monstrous and supernatural.

“Oh, on the contrary, my dear, you are very much in danger.” A male voice said. I could recognize the voice as belonging to Abraham, Salvador’s advisor. Why was he out here at such a time? Sure, that question could also be asked to me, but I don’t think he would have been rushed to a store to buy something before they close, like I was.

I stopped, confused, and looked around to try to locate him. “Wha? Who’s there?” I asked, although still recognizing the voice, I still let like I needed to ask.

Eventually I saw his silhouette standing in the alleyway that I had stopped in front of. Luckily, I was still mostly in the streets, and wasn’t directly in arm’s length, which would have made me completely worried even more.

“H-hi, Abraham, just headed back to my hotel, I’ll get there in around 5 minutes…” I began, “and in danger of what? I just see you and I out here.”

Abraham stepped out of the alleyway and out into the street, I could see some kind of odd look in his eyes, but I didn’t question it as he always had some kind of strange aura coming from him, perhaps it was just my introvertedness not agreeing with his seemingly way too much sternness.

I never felt completely comfortable with people who were stern. Always reminded me somewhat of Ms. Schreiber, in the way that she always looked down upon me, no matter how good I did with my grades or anything.

“What are you doing out here alone, anyway?” Abraham asked, “And where did your shoes go off to?” He looked like he was somewhat sizing me up, which was something I wasn’t expecting from him at all.

I sighed.

“I underestimated the deepness of a mud puddle back there,” I replied, pointing towards where the mud puddle had been, “I was trying to reach the gift shop before they had closed, I saw something that I believed I may have wanted, but wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to see anything else, so I decided to wait a bit.”

I shrugged.

“But I got there too late, and they had closed before I managed to get there.”

I sheepishly laughed under my breath, rubbing the back of my neck.

“I would be suggesting that you let me assist you back to the hotel, too many dangers out here at night, especially for someone who is as such as young and feeble as you.” Abraham offered, gently wrapping his arm around my own and began to lead me down the road to the hotel.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to take to being called feeble as a compliment or an insult. Abraham was seemingly always so stoic and grumpy, that I never knew if he had liked someone or not, or even felt happy or not, or was complimenting someone or insulting them.

I didn’t complain as getting help from someone, always made me feel a little bit liked, and by someone who I knew even by a little bit usually made me feel a little more uncomfortable than being lead by someone whom I didn’t know.

However, I still didn’t feel like I had been saved from any kind of danger. Although now, I didn’t feel any safer, now with Abraham somewhat confirming my suspicions of being in danger, the dangers that I feared hadn’t been revealed to be any specific kind.

Was it thieves? Muggers? Murderers?

What?

I didn’t necessarily feel any safer.

“I must have a talk with your parents tomorrow morning, they must keep a closer eye on you, they can’t just let you wander off during the night.” Abraham explained, patting my hand, almost like how a Victorian gentleman would have to a Victorian lady.

I could see the hotel’s front doors soon, and although I expected Abraham to walk me to the front doors, he had stopped me in front of another alleyway.

“Why have we stopped?” I asked, “The doors of the hotel are over there, isn’t it?”

I was genuinely confused.

Abraham sighed and begins leading me into the said alleyway.

“They always locked the front doors of the hotel at night, but they always leave the back door unlocked for any patrons of the hotel.” Abraham explained.

I actually doubted that piece of information, but I didn’t find any kind of fact that disproved it from being true. I really didn’t want to go into a dark place with anyone, but fighting against Abraham’s attempts, the thought of it, made me feel strangely even more scared than being alone did.

He had led me into the alleyway and to the back of it, where the back door of the hotel was.

He opened the door for me, and I only found it proper to thank him for his offer to protect me.

“Thank you, sir, and may I ask, what kind of dangers were you talking about? I have barely heard about the presence of thieves or muggers anywhere, in the papers or the news…” I asked, raising an eyebrow .

I then saw a very intimidating smile spread over his face, which was something that sent a terrible chill down my spine. I have never seen him smile this big, let alone ever really seen him smile at all.

The look in his eyes, the look that I had thought I saw as he had exited the alleyway prior returned, but this time, didn’t fade away like before.

“Well, my dear, that would be me…” He chuckled, as he suddenly slammed the door closed before I could have entered it. His eyes suddenly, changed from what appeared to be normal human eyes, to more beastly. The whites of his eyes became black, and his irises red.

I naturally began backing away as he began cornering me. He began transforming in front of my eyes. I couldn’t really see much changing about his face, but I could see tentacles pulling themselves out from underneath his collar, and feathers suddenly growing out from underneath his robes behind him.

I could somewhat see what appeared to be an extra pair of arms emerging from under his original pair, as the crease of the front of his garments somewhat blew apart in the slight breeze.

“Wh, what?” I stammered, trying to think up a plan to escape, a plan that would be a bit more complex that running away as I knew that there was a very high possibility that Abraham was faster than me by far.

“You, my dear, will be a fine feast for the king…” Abraham hissed, his grin being far more toothy than before.

I took no more time to turn and run, I also heard someone else wandering somewhere nearby, and I was hoping that they would have helped me and saved me from this traumatic experience.

I didn’t know how I was able to get to the end of the alleyway before being caught, but I managed to throw myself into the streets and in the open air. Harold was sweeping up some of the rubbish and the stones that had been littered around the entrance.

Perhaps the hotel DIDN’T lock its front doors at night?

“Cassidy, you’re up late.” He said, before realizing that my expression showed absolute terror, “What’s wrong?”

Suddenly, Abraham bolted out of the alleyway, and I thought that I was going to die immediately until Harold threw himself in between Abraham and I.

“Leave her alone, you…” Harold growled, but was interrupted by Abraham.

“Hello, Harold.” Abraham said, his tone filled with distaste.

Harold’s expression changed to slightly shocked, mixed with his own fear.

“Abraham? You?” Harold asked.

Abraham slowly walked further out of the shadows of the alleyway, slowly approaching Harold as if he expected Harold to run and leave me for dead. But Harold stayed put.

“I do not wish to hurt you tonight, so I would suggest handing her back over to me now.” Abraham sneered, holding out a hand, expecting Harold to give in and give me back to him.

Harold, however, did not do such a thing.

“Over my dead body.” He hissed, pushing me backwards towards the front doors, “Get inside.” He hissed to me.

I tried to run for the door, but I then could see someone on the other side. I grabbed the door handle and tried to get it open, but I found that the door had been locked from the other side! Who in the world would have locked it? Was it someone who hoped that they wouldn’t have to get into the fray if the person that Abraham was going for was captured and would just leave? Or was it someone who worked for or with him, helping him out?

It didn’t really matter, I was still locked out of the building either way.

“Someone locked the door, Harold. I cannot get inside.” I whispered.

“Cowards.” Harold hissed, underneath his breath.

Abraham continued to smirk, suggesting that the person who had closed the door had been under his thumb and was working for or with him, to ensure that he had successfully gotten to me.

Suddenly, I could hear Harold wince as a slicing noise could be heard.

I saw Harold stumble a bit, holding his face, but he did not fall. I could see blood on his hand as he removed it from his face, Abraham must have attacked him, I saw blood on Abraham’s claws, so it wasn’t a far stretch from the imagination.

I began pulling and pounding upon the doors, calling out for someone’s assistance, someone other than the bastard who locked me and Harold out, to unlock the door and let us in. Sure, that locking the door may not have kept Abraham out for long, but it would give us enough time to get help from someone who knew how to deal with these kinds of creatures.

But no one came.

I could hear Harold trying to fight back from Abraham, as Abraham continued to claw him up with his talons and his claws, but most of Harold’s attempts were nothing compared to the brute strength that Abraham had.

I could see blood dripping down from Harold’s body, and his standing position was growing weaker and weaker. I didn’t know what to do, if Harold was going to survive this, and I wasn’t going to be kidnapped or captured by Abraham, I would have had to pull Harold down to the emergency station to get him some serious help. Probably would need to go to the trauma center.

“Haven’t you had enough blood for tonight?” Harold gasped for air, trying to sound intimidating as best as he could, through the pain and suffering that he must have been pushing through.

“I told you, I’m here for the girl, not you. All you have to do is hand her over.” Abraham snarled, slashing Harold in the face again.

Harold staggered again, blinking several times to get the blood out of his eyes.

“And I told YOU, over my dead body!” He growled back.

Abraham’s expression turned back to slightly amused, but still frustrated and tired from the resistance that he had been given.

“Very well, I can deal with that. I skipped dinner anyway!” He growled, grabbing Harold by his collar and pulling him up into the air. Harold struggled and tried to pull out of Abraham’s grip, but was unable to, his weakened state, let alone his normal state, was no match for the strength that Abraham’s werecreature form had.

I ignored the absolutely disgusting sloppy noises that had transpired afterwards, as Abraham began eating Harold whole, starting with his head. I only tried to use that as a distraction, to run past Abraham, around the fences, and get back to the streets.

Perhaps I could see through an unblocked window of some other building, to get someone’s attention and assistance, but I was grabbed in what I could only feel was a bunch of tentacles, around my ankle and I fell to the floor and was dragged backwards.

I struggled and thrashed as even more tentacles clouded my vision and wrapped me in some kind of cocoon like thing as I was held there, until Abraham had finished Harold off. I could hear Harold screaming and struggling to get out and fight against being digested.

The space around me got tighter before I could feel Abraham quickly moving away from his spot and it felt like he was crawling up the wall.

“Poor child, not knowing what is in store for you.” He whispered, tightening his grip on me even more, before running off elsewhere.

Inside of my prison was sticky, as one would imagine being trapped in a cage made of tentacles, or a cage with tiny grippy hands that messed with you ever so often.

Soon, the footsteps from outside changed from hard concrete to soft grass and twigs. I could hear other footsteps accompanying Abraham’s, and the wind began to blow a bit harder.

Finally, I could hear Salvador’s voice, sounding rather pleased by Abraham’s actions.

“Good job, Abraham.” He grinned slyly, as Abraham dumped me out of his tail and onto the ground amongst the slightly wet grass. It felt like I was covered in a very thin goopy film, but I didn’t really concern myself with it.

I couldn’t stop shaking, as it was a mix of fear and the coldness of the air around me. The wind did not help keep my warm.

I couldn’t lift my head to meet Salvador’s eye contact as he slowly approached me, I was too scared to even think of doing so. I dug my fingers into the grass as hard as I could to distract me from the horrendous events occurring around me.

I could feel a vibration in my pocket, someone texting me, probably my parents wondering where I was. But I couldn’t text them back, I couldn’t move, in fear of being hurt by trying to contact help, to have someone come save me from this whole thing.

“I dreamt about you last night.” Sal hummed, grinning as he bent down and tipped my head up with a fingertip underneath my chin, forcing me to make eye contact with him. His expression showed calm mischief, a terrifying mix for someone who was probably intending me some kind of harm.

“You looked the same as you did last week, and you were beautiful.” He whispered, “And now, no one will get to see your beauty but me.” He tweaked my nose before kissing it.

“And do you really think that after you’ve discovered my secret, that you’d just be able to get away with it?” He asked, smiling wider, “That you would be just let off without punishment?”

Although I could see it was Salvador, he didn’t seem like the man that I had met before.

“Wh-who are you?” I asked, merely out of instinct. I did not really wish to ask him a question of any kind, as I did not wish to begin a conversation. My introvertedness, even prior to this whole event, wouldn’t have allowed me to do it, unless he had started the conversation himself.

“You haven’t figured it out?” Salvador asked, he sounded although shocked, calm, or even a bit amused.

I began regretting asking him the question, let alone anything.

“You haven’t heard about the rumors of the werecreature’s?” Abraham asked, although Sal looked like he was going to ask the same thing.

“I-I thought they were simply rumors…” I whimpered, I could feel my hands begin to quiver, and my mind was too full of fear to click things together.

“You really DON’T know who I am?” Sal asked, wrapped his entire hand underneath my chin, digging his claws into my cheeks. I tried my best to keep the tears that threatened to run down my face to stay, as I did not wish to show any more weakness than I already was.

I didn’t respond to him in any way, I did not wish to continue our conversation, I knew that the moment I tried to talk, I would have burst out into tears.

“I would have sworn that you would have realized it the moment you had seen me.” He chuckled, baring his teeth, revealing them to be knife-like, “You, my poor child, are so nieve.”

“I say we deal with her now, before someone get suspicious and realizes that she’s gone.” Abraham suggested, sounding unamused.

“Agreed, advisor.” Sal growled, still smiling. I could see something change about him, as if he was transforming into something else.

“Please, I thought you were in pain! I wanted to see if you were ok! I didn’t mean to see anything!” I began to plead, believing that I was going to either die by being torn to shreds, or being eaten alive, “Please, sir, please don’t kill me!”

Salvador’s grin turned to be more amused, than simple intimidation.

“Please? Oh, I like it when you say that.” He smirked, he pulled my face closer to his, his face was mostly pressed into the side of mine, “Do it again.” He hummed.

“Awe, she cares!” Abraham sarcastically cooed, I could hear him cracking his knuckles behind me. I was worried that he was just about to attack me or something.

But before he could do such a thing, Salvador picked me up, tucked me underneath his arm and then began walking deeper into the forest. I naturally, on instinct, began trying to squirm, but was naturally unable to get out of his grip.

Suddenly, I could feel Salvador beginning to change around me, I could both hear and feel his clothing strain to stay around him, and I could hear some of the threads snapping apart. I could feel fur beginning to grow and cover his rapidly growing body, as he walked.

“You’re going to be my little caged, princess, and soon…” Salvador began, but he was interrupted by Abraham.

“This was NOT what I was talking about Sal.” He grumbled.

“And so what about what you meant?” Sal asked, “YOU aren’t the ruler, are you?”

“You’re going to be my little caged princess, and soon…” Salvador began, my fear completely drowned out the rest of what he had said. But I caught a glance at Abraham, who looked frustrated, as if THIS wasn’t what he had meant when he had said, “Deal with her.”

As Salvador’s transformation continued, the fur began being tightly pressed up against my body. And despite me being absolutely filled with terror, it was thick and warm, counteracting the cold weather surrounding us. Allowing my fear to be overridden somewhat, or at least, just to the point where I could understand the conversation between Salvador and Abraham.

“And it looks like you got yourself a good meal.” Sal commented, passing by several strange looking rocks with runes on them, “Who did you end up eating Abraham?”

Abraham sighed and rubbed his face tiredly.

“Oh, you know, Harold tried to get in the way between me and Cassidy, tried to face me, and, well, we all know how that turned out.” Abraham replied, he sounded like he wanted to go to bed, but I thought that werecreatures were nocturnal… oh well.

I could see Harold still weakly trying to struggle, but I could also see small red splotches in between the robe’s opening, signaling that there were more blood in his stomach than there used to be. Telling me that Harold was closer to death than before.

“Too bad, I always liked that poor sap.” Sal sighed, “Anyway, it’s way past midnight and I believe it would be much more dangerous to stay out past then. I’ll need to spend more time with the little one before sunrise anyway.”

He tightened his grip around me for a bit, before he patted my face.

“Seriously, you gotta deal with her before then, as someone WILL come after her.” Abraham grumbled.

“And do you doubt my fighting abilities?” Sal asked, squinting his eyes, as he watched Abraham skulk into the darkness and thickness of the trees, before turning around and entering some kind of cave system.
