The comic will have longer waiting times from now on. The third part is already sketched and obviously I'm going to follow it. Please don't worry about it!
But honestly it's not my priority. I keep my family drawing and I don't want to feel trapped in this.
I really enjoy drawing so I want to take it easy. I want to do fanart in between commissions.On the other hand if I get donations for the comic I can get it to you guys a lot faster!
Being able to bring you guys new comics once or twice a week would be crazy and I would love it!I hope we can reach that goal someday but for now I'll take it easy!

The hygiene issue could be far worse than we realize
the one piece live action making Usopp and Kaya canon and a theory I saw got me thinking about this angst concept and if I don't put it somewhere I fear it'll haunt me (I've put the keep reading thing for anyone who doesn't want to see the angst content)
So the theory was talking about how Oda said one of the straw hats would die (idk if that's 100% true since I haven't seen where he said it) and how Usopp's dream is one that doesn't require him to survive to accomplish it (like you could argue he's already accomplished it at many parts in one piece because of how vague "I want to be a brave warrior of the sea" is). I believe it also goes on to say a way he could even accomplish that dream is to die in a heroic act.
But ultimately what's made me think the theory might be true is my friend pointing out how having him and Kaya be canon in the live action has essentially marked him for death (also the parallels of Kaya and Usopp to Usopp's own parents with Yasopp never returning also kinda points at it).
Now even if he doesn't die, there's an angst concept the live action has provided that hits even harder because they had Nami and Kaya bond. Now, fans of just the live action probably aren't aware (and this isn't really a spoiler cause I'm not giving anything really away as to why) that Nami and Usopp are considered a duo/best friends.
Which led me to thinking about how with all this new content adding to the angst: the concept of Nami being the one to go to syrup village after finding the one piece to see Kaya is golden (especially if she's bringing Kaya something of Usopp's or being the one to tell her but I doubt she'd get to be the one to break the news due to newspapers)
I just- if Usopp does in fact die later in the manga and Nami isn't the one to go see Kaya it's a wasted opportunity

The first page only contains a panel with the words "A Captain's Love.“
The second page shows Luffy and Nami holding hands and smiling at each other. Pictured underneath is a close-up of their interlinked hands and the gray silhouette of a person asking "So, are you guys dating?" Another panel shows Nami's reaction: an appalled expression on her face and "huh?" written in bold red letters.
The second page depicts Luffy sitting on Zoro's lap, happily eating meat while Zoro is drinking. Next to them is a gray silhouette again, asking: "isn't that weird?" At the bottom of the page is Zoro's reaction: an intimidating glare with "WHAT" spelled out in big red capital letters behind him.
The third page contains a drawing of Luffy and Usopp, sleeping on spread out blankets and pillows on the floor while cuddling. Again, the silhouette of a person is in the corner, remarking: "you know what people might think." Usopp's reaction in an extra panel is giving the person a deeply disapproving side-eye, asking "oh yeah...?"
The fourth page depicts Luffy tighly hugging Robin while lifting her in the air as both of them are grinning. The gray silhouette of a person is asking: "Are you really gonna let him act like that with your girlfriend?" Pictured underneath is Franky, deeply confused expression on his face, only responding with a bewildered "uhh...."
The last panel shows Luffy, grinning and holding his hat. The asexual and the aromantic flag are pictured behind him.
This took far too long to make but happy pride yall
Men, from One Piece, love these men, some of them only sometimes, and most make me ill thinking about them too much
I wanted to practice getting a feel for how I wanted to draw some of these guys since I've struggled a bit with drawing some of them on my own for some reason (usually the hat bearers)
makes this within like, 3 hours and throws it at tumblr because i NEEDED to make this with One Piece characters.
also because i think the idea of the Marines having a diversity initiative is the funniest shit in the world.
