I'm sorry but I will ALWAYS be a fucking slut for dynamics that goes from "being petty without reason and strongly annoyed by each other's mere existence" to love because I love the opposite of just "head over heels for someone I just met". No. Let them hate each other. Let them have petty fights about mugs in the cabinets. Hell, let even the way they walk make the other lose their shit. Let them only see the worst before slowly but surely the anger turns into endearment and yes, they will always be annoying insufferable little shits in the other's eyes but they are THEIR annoying insufferable little shit.
