[Today I remembered a story that an old lady told me from whom I bought sweets when I was a child .]

[The old lady loved to tell all sorts of horror stories which made the residents of the town where I lived before I came to this garden freeze their blood in their veins.]

[The story I heard was called "The Bug Eater". This story is about a young office worker who, since childhood, instead of normal food, ate live bugs, worms and cockroaches, but he did not understand this because he saw them as normal food. One night he felt bad and decided to go to the bathroom to throw up, but he was horrified when, instead of leftover food undigested by his stomach, in the sink he saw live beetles, worms and other crawling creatures that wriggled furiously in his own blood and squeaked loudly, clearly wanting to return to the body. He eventually became a veritable incubator for insects.]

Tried to paint a single moment from Catalina's life that would explain her as a person much more than tons of text would. She was a pet psyker of an inquisitor, reduced to a living shield and a lab rat. More like an instrument and less like a person. She had no rosette of her own and wasn't even supposed to get it eventually. Catalina is sitting somewhere on the floor, her arm destroyed in an explosion and skin on her face peeled off. She is calm and collected, it almost seems like everything is as it should be. A missing limb and remnants of burnt tissue do not bother her. She had a task to neutralize a xeno artifact, and a task from inquisitor means more than her life. She thinks she is lucky that the artifact destroyed so little when it blew up. She looks cold and perhaps a little bit lost? Catalina only thinks of service and her own usefulness to her master, since there is nothing else in her empty life.

Felt kinda guilty since I post more p0rn art with Catalina (btw check my twitter...It's all there) than I post info about her. I want people to know she actually has lore XD
