Woahkay guys: new idea for an au:

Frisk decides to stay in the ruins, just to see what’ll happen ‘n stuff. They end up dying, and before they can reset, Toriel absorbs they’re soul in a half grief half panic form of poor decision making. Well now that her child is gone and there are like 6 of her other kids already dead and waiting at the palace, she decides that fuck it, this is ending now.

So like she goes through the underground like a badass, snatches up those souls and breaks the mother fucking barrier. But now she- and those around her -have to deal with the consequences of all this and how to cope. Because like. She doesn’t know how to reset. And she’s strongarming monster kind into not going to war (ur gonna listen to a pissed off goddess), so there’s no way in hell she’s gonna even try to unfuse with the souls.

And yea. The Angst possibilities,,,,, they’re limitless,,,,,,
