Hey so I’d like to say something real quick!
ALMOST EVERY CHARACTER IN THE DREAM SMP ARE IN THE RIGHT IN SOME WAY.
Let me explain. We see almost every single characters perspectives, reasons, and motivations; and they are all right in some way or form!
Tubbo did the right thing by exiling Tommy, but Tommy was also in the right for doing what he did. Tommy believed that L’manburg was in safe hands and that he could finally finish his war with dream without having others in the crossfire. Tubbo was backed into a corner where he did in fact do the logical and correct thing, and exile Tommy.
Does this exempt them from their wrong doings? No it does not. However, we have to keep in mind that there is a side and story to every character and no one character is strictly good or bad. (except dream, his lime green blob face is very punchable)
A good example of this is Technoblade. I also have nothing against techno. Techno clearly set his ideals and those ideals were ignored. He was justified for doing what he did, seriously I was one of the people chanting blood for the blood god! Still it is plain to see his faults like actively encouraging and enabling Wilbur whilst he was spiraling and Playing off of the destruction and chaos of l’manburg for his own gain.
He is also somewhat a hypocrite. He preaches anarchy but actively destroys and keeps down governments in a tyrannical fashion. He himself stated “the ends justify the means” when asked about it directly.
What I’m saying here is that all of these characters have flaws in some shape or way; and by squabbling about who is more in the right we ignore what we should be doing. Like focusing on the actual problem which is Dream.
