Very self indulgent Magnus Archives Timelord AU.
- Gertrude Robinson is the previous regeneration of the Time Lord known as The Archivist
- The Archivist (Gertrude) had several companions who are all her canon archive assistants
- The Archivist’s sonic is a Lighter
-Tell me Michael Shelley’s fate isn’t some tragic companion level shit, you can’t
- Gerard Keay is trapped something reminiscent of the Lux Foundation Library Data Core, as opposed to a actual book
- Annabelle Cane is a Gallifreyan Time Lady and has a magnificent spider web collar
- Jonah Magnus is the most common alias of the rouge Time Lord known as The Pupil, his regenerations are just his canon bodies
- Peter Lukas is The Pupil’s on and off again traveling companion
- Daisy and Basira are called in after the phrase “The Archivist” is picked up on emergency call in the same vein as the emergency system in Aliens one London
- Section 31 officers occupy the same space as UNIT
- Most of the actual statements and events could straight up just be doctor who episodes, just substitute out “aliens” for “weird stuff”
- Tim, Sasha, Not!Sasha, Martin, Basira and Melanie are all companions, Daisy and Georgie tag along sometimes but not often
- Melanie King still very much runs a ghost hunting show, and I honestly can’t believe that hasn’t been the premise for an actual Doctor Who companion yet
- The Archivist (Jon) can’t really remember what their previous regeneration was doing because they (Gertrude) locked their memories in an attempt to sabotage The Pupil
- Martin steps up and introduces himself as, and stands in for, The Archivist several times when The Archivist is unavailable
- The Forsaken is a pocket dimension
- Trevor and Julia use the Library as a trap to lure in supernatural creatures and are reoccurring characters because I said so
Feel free to add more I just wrote down what I was actively thinking about.
Day six of doing a doodle for every episode of the Magnus Archives until I get bored. Day six sort of ended up being more themed towards Jane, or maybe the corruption in general, but yeah I like it, I might have to do a fully Jane Prentiss themed doodle at some point.
I would like to present for your consideration, The Crystals Shop Employees, but in an AU where they team up and start hunting rituals in an attempt to figure out what the fuck is happening to them. Or, Jane pressures Oliver into checking out some weird shit, and they run into Gertrude. Chaos ensues. I just like making buddy comedies that shouldn’t exist out of media with a lot of plot lines, especially when they don’t make enough jokes about the Crystal and Tarot shop where the worm monster and sleepy grim reaper work.
Jane Prentiss:
-she is still very much Corruption alined, however rather than immediately going full Flesh Hive, she talks to Oliver and sort of manages to hold it back a little. So she’s still infected and it’s spreading, but she’s holding it at bay just enough. She wears bandages and thick clothes to cover where her skin is getting eaten. She does go full Flesh Hive on occasion but only when she calls upon The Crawling Rot. She is closer to a full blown avatar here, and still does all of her usual things, including blacking out for long periods of time and trapping Martin in his apartment. And leads the attack on the institute like usual.
Oliver Banks:
-man is very tired. He mentions to Jane in passing that he went to the Magnus Institute, and she, who had also gone, latches into it and Oliver, dragging him against his will to start looking into this stuff, they probably end up visiting the Church of the Divine Host at some point. The two of them meet Gertrude exactly once, and she tells them just enough to get both of them very worried. Martin Blackwood makes a trip to the crystal shop at ask about Jane at some point and Oliver doesn’t say anything useful, Martin leaves with an unfavorable impression of the him. After Gertrude dies and Jane starts slipping into full Flesh Hive more often, Jane gets the idea to attack the Magnus Institute directly, and tells Oliver to stay behind. Oliver starts seeing the Black Tendrils around Jane when she starts explaining her plan, her last words to him are “live a good life Oliver Banks”

I made a graph of my alignments based on a WHOLE bunch of quizzes I took, each “one” is a different quiz. This isn’t the most accurate as I tend to view myself as aligned to the Eye, the Spiral, and then Vast in third, but it was fun to take overall.
