I HAVE THE MOST BRILLIANT ART IDEA FOR PHANTOM OF THE PARABLE

Spoilers for those who aren’t familiar with the POTO narrative but:

You know the iconic scene where the chandelier drops down from the opera? Both in the book and in the Broadway musical /musical film?

Like imagine it, but with the Countdown ending.

HOW COOL WOULD THAT LOOK?

It’s just an ordinary opera play. Nothing bad is happening, yet. After some time during the play, Stanley got to be in the spotlight, after being a ballet dancer or as a supporting performer for some time. But because Stanley kind of dejected Narrator (In the POTO version, Phantom was jealous that Christine devoted her love to the Count Raoul. I say Stanley devoted his ‘love’ to TimeKeeper because… that’s all I could think of for now lol).

So Narrator, out of spite, goes backstage and starts tampering with all the ropes and different equipment that is held backstage. Soon, some people are noticing something wrong happening. Place is going to smithereens, the whole facility opera house shaking, lights turning red, and then Stanley sees the Chandelier shaking from above. Stanley realizes that he has about 2 minutes to escape from an incoming disaster. So in his head, he sees that large red 2 minute countdown. But Stanley is frozen in shock. The whole opera house is in chaos. Every guest is pushing each other from their seats to leave the place before the impact. The stage performers and dancers screaming.

Then BAM. The chandelier drops.

Maybe I’ll do Stanley next. I’m in the process of writing down plot for the PhantomOfTheParable!AU, which also includes me reading the original book. Idk bro, I’m in hella of a creative block right now :(

Comparing my Narry design and TK design, I realized how much I don’t like a lot of the elements in Narry. Creating TimeKeeper’s design was easy. Clock with a suit. But for Narry? Design is completely subjective.

There’s something so off about it that even comparing to other Narrator designs, mine is just.. weird? Idk if it’s the hair, the color of the hair, or maybe the whole outfit. But then again, I like my men in gothic vintage suits so.. uhm.

You know what I’ll just give him a haircut >:/
