deku who sees bakugou's all might card fall out of his pocket during a fight after UA. and when deku hands him it back, bakugou snatches it from him. cussing him out as he storms away. deku can't help but be curious. there's just one dot he can't connect, now knowing why he always has his hands in his pockets; to hold onto this card. but why this card specifically? for good luck? so deku decides to confront him about it. 'it's none of your business, stupid nerd.'

'stop the tough guy act and just tell me. I won't laugh.' deku doesn't point out that it doesn't hurt to show a little vulnerability now and then. 'I...wanted to get all might to sign it.' bakugou admitted, refusing to look at him. something about the ground was much more interesting.

'so why haven't you?' deku was perplexed. yea, he was aware that bakugou was as much a fanboy as he was. but the card didn't have any signature on it and he would've stopped carrying it at this point if he did. 'because every time I tried...I ended up chickening out.'

'then let me do it for you.' bakugou let out a small growl at that. he didn't think deku would steal it, having too pure a heart. 'why?'

'because we're friends. this way you still get the card signed and don't have to worry about backing out.'

'okay, don't bend it!' handing it over, bakugou was certain deku would take good care of it.
