"I love you," he swore as he went to the Yule Ball with Evans instead.

"I love you," he insisted as Regulus pointed out that they only meet at night.

"I love you," he whispered as he took Sirius away and left Regulus behind.

"I love you," he pleaded as Regulus finally ended it.

"I loved you," he said when he saw the Mark. But where had the clues been? Maybe if he had meant it, Regulus wouldn't be here now.
