klaus and ben stans how are we feeling after the writers trashed everything that made them interesting and likeable as characters to give them a plotline where they had essentially no significance?

I just finished s2 and I have many thoughts
overall I liked it a lot and for almost every sibling i feel likereally gree and became more complex characters than they were in s1
but I am so pissed at how dirty they did klaus and ben that was just some lazy and nonsensical writibg which just harmed their characters
