There Were A Few Small Formatting And Pacing Issues But Overall The Book Was Really Good (: - Tumblr Posts

Hi! (:
My internet was out for a couple days, but it's back, and so am I, with fan art!
I got @drbarty's book, A Plague on Necromancy, and really enjoyed most of it! Because of that, I decided to design a plague mask for the character Lord Fabian. The ID is above the cut this time, as my design notes contain spoilers.
[ID: A drawing of a plague mask, worn by a blank grey head. The mask is shown on from the left, and is made of four visible segments. The tip of the nose is darker than the rest of the mask, colored a couple shades of dark grey and purple. The rest of the mask is paler, mostly white or a pale brown. The eye is covered by red glass, and set into a deeper socket, that matches an eye socket of a bird skull. Two purple straps hold the mask to the head. End ID]
Design Notes:
The colors are partially based on drbarty's cosplay. I really like the red and white color palette, and purple looks good with both.
The mask is based on a vulture skull, as vultures are equipped for interacting with dead bodies, and are associated with death. Fitting for a character that is mistaken as Death twice.
Rather than connecting to the face at the bridge of the nose, like most plague masks I've seen, the "beak" connects to the forehead. It follows the shape of the bird skull, looking larger and more inhuman.
