Okay so The Watcher’s Crown ritual has been bugging me lately, I couldn’t figure out what exactly it was.

And then I started thinking about Jon’s scars.

the scalpel wound from Melanie - The Slaughter

the knife wound from Daisy - The Hunt

the worm burrow holes from Prentiss - The Corruption

the burn in his hand from Jude Perry - The Desolation

the ribs he let Jared Hopworth take - The Flesh

the five stitches he needed after Michael stabbed him - The Spiral

add on when he was just free falling bc of Mike Crew which had to leave some kind of damage, even if it’s not physical - The Vast

and the fact he’s the avatar for The Beholding - The Eye

plus his emotional trauma from A Guest for Mr. Spider - The Web

that’s 8 out of the 14 entities. he’s collecting scars/traumas from each of them. one could even say he’s collecting a jewel for each of them…

That has to be The Watcher’s Crown, he has to have first-hand encounters with each of them or something like that to complete his ritual.
