“Long time no see, Love.” Kol smirked as he stood near the group in the middle of Mystic Falls woods. Everyone was shocked to see the youngest Mikealson back in the flesh, but only y/n seemed to be able to speak. But her like everyone else standing there were all more worried about a certain sociopath that's present.

“Kol?” Y/n looked shocked to see him standing there.

“Its me, Darling.” Kol smiled, he had truly missed her. Life wasn’t the same without her in it.

“Long time.” Y/n stated looking him over to see what changed since they last saw eachother.

“What's a few decades between vampire?” Kol shrugged trying to act unbothered by the time that had passed. It wasn’t his choice or hers.

“Still feels like a lifetime.” Y/n pointed out not going to let it just slide by as non-important.

“How’s life been for you?” Kol asked only focusing his attention on her, which wasn’t hard since she was the one closest to him.

“Kol I-” Y/n started but got cut off by Kai who had had enough of it feeling like they were the only two who existed in this moment. Everyone else just wanted to see how this would play out.

“What's going on here?” Kai spoke up looking between his girl and the stranger confused.

“Kai-” Y/n went to turn to face Kai when now Kol asked.

“What's this?”

Kai raised his brows in offense and mock amusement. “Who am I? Who are you?”

“Kol this is Kai Parker, he’s a heretic.” Y/n gulped nervously introducing the two. “An Kai this is Kol Mikealson, an Original.”

Kai nodded now understanding who exactly this was. “And your ex.”

“Ex?” Kol tilted his head at Kai’s statement. When did they break up?

“You left her a long time ago. She’s moved on.” Kai answered him with a smirk.

“Bet I could get her back.” Kol smirked back knowing he could win. He gave a shrug of his shoulders. “She was mine first afterall.”

“An you left. I haven’t.” Kai countered stepping closer to the original.

“I turned her.” Kol stepped up so they were almost chest to chest, he smirked up knowingly. “I win.”

Y/n moved to stand between them a hand on each chest. “Guy’s please stop this.”

“Oh, I’m nowhere near done.” Kai stated squinting his eyes.

“Neither am I, Darling.” Kol stated as well, giving Kai a death glare.

“Your gonna lose.” Kai smiled evilly

“I’m a Mikealson, we never lose.” Kol scoffed shaking his head amused at the younger male's assumptions.

“Then you’ve met your match.” Kai told him moving his hands to rest on Y/n’s hips knowing it would piss off the older vampire. “This’ll be fun.”

“Fun is the word I’d use.” Kol agreed trying not to let it show how much Kai’s actions bothered him.

“This is gonna end badly.” Y/n let out a sigh knowing nothing good could come out of this.
