Horror game idea
okay, so essentially I’ve had this idea in the back of my mind for a while now and I kind of wanna get it out. The basic idea is that the player had abusive dad, ran away with a bunch of stuff and accidentally drove into the “portal”, the section dubbed highway 49, which is essential a place that stops aging and is infinite, with the chances of finding the other end of the road nearly impossible. The only main point on the infinite section is the road. Because it’s effectively barred in from the rest of the world, the “animals” are really fucked up and stuff. The player is violently aware of the fact that their intestines are trying to wiggle and squirm out of their body but they don’t know why, so you have to find these random pill bottles in like the gas stations and houses that got stuck in the time-warp, while also getting chased by monsters.
I hope that was somewhat coherent. I think the full title will be “highway 49; home to the horrors beyond us”
