I heard the released bit of this song late last night and felt the need to make an animatic
It’s pretty quickly drawn (well, 2.5 hours but still, quick) so it’s kind rough
I also now have made up so much lore for the four suitors in this, I didn’t even mean to
Telemachus, to the suitors, while backed down to the corner: Gentlemen, gentlemen, let's be civil about this, let's make a deal: you surrender, and you don't die! How does that sound?
Antinous, cleaning his nails with the tip of the dagger: And how do you intend to kill us?

Athena, with her eyes glowing red and neck cocked under an unnatural angle: Hi.
I have a question
Why do the suitors call Telemachus little wolf and not something actually offensive like little bug or something? Is it because they can't be that openly disrespectful towards the prince so they had to disguise it as a something kinda nice?
No bc telling him that he's little clearly frustrates him but they're still comparing him to a frickin wolf, which is not offensive at all, is it?

Telemachus is my baby I adore him this is the first time we ever hear from him, his first song and what is it about? IT'S ABOUT HIS FAMILY THAT HE LOVES DEARLY ( even the pieces of it that are missing ) AND ABOUT HOW HE JUST WANTS TO BE STRONG AND BRAVE AND DEFEND THE PEOPLE HE LOVES WHAT THE FUCK HOW CAN I NOT LOVE HIM??? *sobs so much*
I love love love how much he adores and looks up to his dad ? He only knows him through stories ( that penelole told him with so much love AAAHHH) and yet he wants to be like him, he's sure he was the bravest and strongest ever , every day he imagines talking to him and telling him what's happening in the castle , he wants to be legendary so his dad will be proud and because maybe , just maybe , in being great and fighting big monsters like his dad he will find him ? Maybe going on big adventures is what he needs to feel a connection with him ?? Or maybe , just maybe, there's this hope inside of him that his father is alive and chasing after the biggest monsters is the way to find him too ?? Bc he's such a great hero so he must be after the most terrible of monsters, right?? I don't even know what I'm saying I'm so emotional
( ALSO what if he becomes legendary and his dad hears about his great tales and those tales lead him back to Telemachus?? What if what if what IF *explodes*)
But he can't do it , he doesn't know how , and he's praying for help and he needs his dad but he gets the closest thing to that, ATHENA HIS DAD'S MENTOR i'm crying again
Also he's a 100% naming every monster he can think of he's such a nerd I adore him more than words can say
When he says l-l-l-l-legendary it makes me feel like he's so small, just this young adult wanting to be big but he's still a little silly and akskjsjsbAAAAHHH
You're right he's probably so scared with all these bastards in his home "taking up space" , there's so many and they call him small and he's scared and there probably isn't a place in his own house where he is safe from them aaaaahhhhahsjsjhd and yeah , you're so right he probably has to sneak around and hide all the timeee aaaaakskskksns

Also also back to " I know life and fate are scary " and I know it deep in my bones that he actually doesn't bc he idolizes the myth of fighting monsters and going on adventures so much but he actually has no idea how bad it can get , just ... the parallel between him being young and naive and wanting an adventure so bad and his father losing his youth to an adventure that changed him so much and he is surviving it only bc the thought of home carries him forward... I'm not okay
( I'm aware this is mostly keysmashes and screams and I apologize for that, this saga made me even more insane that I was before)

One of my favourites also!!!!!, the lyrics, everything is so perfectly captured, the tone, the glee in the last part like he could end all his problems right there and poor Telemachus was so horrified.
Let´s be honest if it wasn´t for Penelope, Telemachus and Ithaca would have descended into chaos, like he would have been killed or made into a puppet.
Also Hold them down goes hard in Telemachus part, Penelope's is so abhorrent and sadistic, that I pray to see Antinous been killed soooo bad.
