The only thing unrealistic about "The Rising of the Shield Hero" is that everyone hates a tank, which Naofumi, the Shield Hero, essentially is.

Like, the other three heroes - or, as I like to call them, The Three Stooges - ragged on the shield for being useless, but apparently all of them played MMORPGs before they were isekai'd. And I don't care if you didn't like playing Tanks, you would never call one useless!

Though, maybe I should take that into account. You know, with how stupid they are.

Wow, everyone really is sucking up to Naofumi, now knowing that they can’t possibly win without his help. I swear, these idoit heroes really annoy me, though I guess I’m kind of on good terms with Ren. Also, Myne can’t rest until she stirs up some more trouble, huh? 

(Also, the Pope vs the Heroes scene reminded me of that huge conflict in the second season of Magi.)
