I headcanon Radi being mega motherly, like, that's one of the main reasons she got pissed at PK, he unintentionally stole her children, and when she went to talk to him about it, he started talking shit because he's selfish. Then to stop her from destroying his ((garbage)) kingdom he makes thousands of CHILDREN and only picks one, leaving all the rest to DIE. So it just added to her hatred, bbg couldn't catch a break.
So basically
1. He took her kids
2. He spread lies about her to her kids (making them hate her)
3. Killed his own children to use one as a shit container (she felt so bad that HK was done this dirty)
In conclusion, she has every right to strangle the Pale King

i cannot keep this jailed in my head any longer okay. I firmly believe the hollow knight has never and will never use a contraction in their life and what I mean by that:
like Ghost? absolutely. despite their very stoic nature they're out here spiting their 'purpose' as a empty vessel by speaking (however they might) in the most slurred, disjointed, vulgar way they can manage and they take great delight in it.
But I just KNOW in my heart of hearts that Hollow is the most pretentious, archaic guy out there. once you get past all the trauma and horror and pain and their siblings finally pull a coherent sentence out of them--like Ghost and Hornet are expecting their questions of "how do you feel what do you want" answered with, like, "I'm sort of fine I just want to rest" NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Hollow is going to hit them with thee thou and thy, okay. They were "raised" (loose!! Loose term, pale king my reluctant beloved) by an ancient wyrm-turned-king, okay. "Are you okay" is going to get the answer of "thy fears art wasted, siblings mine, on a vessel so impure and broken as I."

I'm not one for Pale King slander, I think it's far more interesting to look upon him as powerless, making the only insane choose he could, instead of as an evil God himself
Yet you have to admit it was an amazingly horrible thing to have happened, snuffing out billions and choosing the sole survival to live a life without feeling, or thought, or voice
Only for the whole plan to come crashing down
For The Hollow Knight did have a thought, it wanted to make it's dad proud

Maybe in that case The Knight, looking back, didn't kind so much being left in the tomb of it's siblings
