This is my Ood Pumpkin. I enjoyed making it and glad of how it came out. Happy Halloween everyone! yes I know its not till next fri. But have one anyways.

I just rewatched David Tennant’s doctor regeneration into Matt Smith scene and I totally forgot that the Ood sing him a song as he goes. It’s one of the first times in a long time where he’s alone it’s Christmas, he’s scared and struggling to stand and “the universe sings him to sleep”. Even when he doesn’t have a companion the whole universe sings him to sleep, he’s never truly alone the universe is thanking him for his sacrifice and care in his last moments.

The Ood

Okay so I’ve seen the Ood before (or rather later) in Doctor Who episodes and have never found them particularly creepy. However, I had never seen the episode, The Satan Pit, until tonight during the Doctor Who marathon. And can I just say, there is something really creepy about the Ood crawling through the air ducts. Satan isn’t even as creepy as the Ood chasing Rose and the two others through the ducts.
